Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Very quick and simpleAs a pre-warning: Both my partner and I are relatively handy and good at assembly and building things. This tent is probably one of the few things we've never disagreed on or quarreled over, during selection, assembly, or anything else about it for that matter. I might even call it a team-builder because we could probably assemble together it in the dark with no fuss at all. This site had the best price I could find on this tent and its accessories, so while I spent weeks and weeks shopping for a tent this is where I ended up. I am not an experienced camper but my partner is and he loves this tent. I do too, despite having no frame of reference- I am possibly now spoiled for tents. Head room, view of the stars, good ventilation, pockets and hangers, color coding of assembly points, quality materials, smart storage backpack- etc. The backpack not only allows for the "expansive" effect when you take an item out of its original packaging and then try to shove it back in all mis-folded and crumpled up AND the backpack has room for the footprint AND the vestibule that we purchased separately. We are mostly car campers but I did choose this tent with a possibility for splitting the load for more backpack camping. I do realize that it's pushing pretty heavy for a backpack tent, but we are not serious and intense campers so it would be more common for us to only camp with a short hike or walk. Also love the colors of the tent and the height of it, allowing my partner and I to stand side by side and walk around which is a huge plus considering he is getting a bit older and I have arthritic knees.

SWEET tentMy wife wanted something bigger for car camping with our dog and this tent did not disappoint. It’s huge inside (coming from a 6ft 5in guy) and is super simple to set up. Only used it in calm, warm weather so can’t speak to its weatherproofing but the quality is high, as with all big Agnes products I own

Big house is the way to go!So easy to set up by myself. I've never been camping in my life. The tent is good for 2 to 3 people depending how much space u require. I'm 6 feet 200lbs. I need space. I used it by myself. I had a blow-up mattress, a chair, cooler, my bag and had
of plenty of room. I bought extra anchor, don't need it. The tent came with 12 and plenty extra line if emergency. No hard rain but the wind was 35 miles per hour and it was good. I bought a 8 by 10 tarp to go under this way it help keep it cleaner and no debri breaks the bottom. I used a 10mil. Great idea. I use the tart to Fold the tent on. Easy to put away. Comes with a back pack that opens in two. A compartment for each item. I spent 2 months reading reviews and looking at a bunch of sites to get the best tent. I was looking for a good quality tent that was water proof and spacious. I found it. And even though I can completely stand up in the center the wind did nothing. But that's because I anchored it really good. It was worth the money, time and energy I spend looking for it.

Wanted to REALLY love it...I was so excited to get this tent. I looked forward to the extra space and tall ceiling so we can stand up inside. And these aspects my husband and I did appreciate when we used it at Lassen. But, we noticed right away that the front door zippers were built weird. The way the 2 zippers had to meet at the bottom corner at a 90° angle left a very tiny opening. No matter how we tried to zip it close, there is this tiny space, enough for maybe very tiny bugs to crawl through. It made us very paranoid each time we opened and closed. We had to check it every time to make sure the zippers were as close as possible. The back door was no problem because the zippers were the traditional curved zippers that close very well. On our next night, I noticed a small spider hanging in the air near my sleeping bag and another spider crawling by my bag. I thought it curious bc my husband and I are meticulous about removing bugs on our bodies before entering and closing the tent doors quickly when we enter to prevent bugs from getting in. Of course, we understand, bugs will still get in despite how hard we try. We are outdoors, after all. The teeny hole from the front door perhaps? In the morning, we looked at the mesh ceiling and noticed 2 sets of small holes, one set on each side. I guess that might have been how those tiny spiders and a few other bugs got inside our tent. I taped up the holes with first aid tape and no more bugs! I also noticed a pull tie was frayed. I was disappointed that for a new tent, it was in this condition. Other than that, we did enjoy the nice welcome mat, the tall ceiling, mesh pockets, extra space, and easy set up (it does require 2 people). Besides quality of the materials, at least for our tent, and the weird setup of the front door zippers, it's a nice tent overall. When we returned, we sent it in to get it repaired. BA was nice to give us a prepaid return label since we had just purchased it. Waiting now for it to get fixed...

Good, solid tent with a couple of flawsThe Big Agnes Big House 4 is a solid, large tent. Good construction. More than plenty of room. Easy to set up and take down. Packs into a convenient bag with pouches. But there are two things about it that drive me crazy. And, had I realized they were there before I bought it, I wouldn't have made the purchase. First is the zip up screen windows in the front door & back opening sections. They are way too small. This means very little air flow and a lot of heat. The rear one is about 4" inches high. The front is a little over a foot. On my old Big House 4 these opening were way, way, larger and gave plenty of air flow. Now - not much at all. For someone who camps in a lot of Southwestern deserts and other warm climates, this is not good. Who wants to lay in their tent and sweat? This is a major design flaw. The second issue is the storage pouches along the sides of the tent. They are way at the top. I'm 6'3" and, sitting up, I can barely reach them. On ther old Big House 4 they were very easy to reach. It's not a deal breaker, but I can't help wondering: What were they thinking?

Great Tent OverallThis is a great tent overall but I was a little dissapointed in the fact that it is advertised as a two door tent but the second door does not have a zipper along the bottom so it is more of a vent than an actual door. I am not sure why this was skimped on because it really is a dissapointing feature on an overall fantastic product.

Can you fit a cot into this tent?

Hey there, thanks for your question.
The interior of the Big Agnes Big House 4 Person Tent is 90" by 92" so there is plenty of room for a cot. A word of caution, if your cot has very pointy feet and the ground is soft, they might poke through the tent floor. This can be avoided pretty easily by putting something extra under the feet of your cot, I use a couple pieces of scrap cardboard.

I have the Big House 4 with footprint and vestibule. I was at a state park campground recently. They use rocks for their tent pads. They have sharp edges that cut through the footprint and hurt to walk on inside the tent.
Is there a thicker footprint?

Thanks for reaching out! There is only one style footprint for the Big House 4. If you would like to add more thickness, and if weight isn't an issue for you, my recommendation is to purchase a heavy-duty tarp from your local hardware store. The store should be able to cut it to the same size as the footprint you already have. I hope this helps!

Is it possible to get an extra set of poles so that we can use the the rain fly sun shelter and have the tent up at the same time. We’re in the southwest and do hot camping.
