Rated 5 out of 5 by from High miles and still holding strong I have been wearing Altras for a full year and will wear nothing else for running. On average, I run 30-40 hill miles a week and a pair of Altra Torin 6 last me 4-5 months. If you think about it, they last me close to 500-600 before breaking in the toe box or beginning to deteriorate at the sole. Comfortable, spacious, durable. For my feet, these are awesome.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wish there was a better way... These style of shoes with the normal foot shape have changed my life. I got to where I was in pain every single day. My toes were all almost touching without shoes. I've been wearing Altras for over a year now and my toes no longer touch and the daily pain is gone. The only thing I wish is that they lasted longer than four or 5 months. I mean these things are EXPENSIVE. Money is hard to come by and I have no choice but to buy this brand of shoe. I love them, but for the price, they need to be more durable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MODEL!!! Do not purchase this model. After 3months of use, run walk for 3-5km, 3times a week. Really dissapointed with this model. Its not cheap I owned torin 4.0,4.5plush both are superb. But not Torin 6.0. Pls avoid. MY seller can only say its wear n tear. They cannot do anything about this. My d altra 4&4.5 still good until now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Shoe, But Uncomfortable Tongue of the Shoe The shoe itself is incredible. Comfortable with a great fit. The only downside is actually something I never really had to consider with any other pair of running shoes--- the tongue. The tongue is hard, plastic-like, and deeply uncomfortable; it digs into the front of your foot and leaves awful scratches. I finally cut them down and taped gauze on the remaining part. Not how I want to make this shoe comfortable enough to wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love, but sadden by lack of durability I bought these due to the comfort and wide toe. I have been wearing them to the gym (treadmill walking and heavy weight lifting) and to work (office nurse) for the past 3 months and already notice them tearing on each side (medial and lateral) where the fabric meets the sole at the toe box. I hate that they cost me over $130 and have been so short lived.
