Rewards Program Terms and Conditions

Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

The cushion hits that sweet spot between having enough to fly down the trail but not so much that you feel unstable making running downhill an absolute blast. It was The upper has an awesome dialed-in fit while still giving my toes the room they need to splay allowing the shoes to handle winding switchbacks like a champ. I'd still reach for my Lone Peaks for the more grounded feel when I'm hitting more technical trails but the Timp may be my new go-to shoe for general trail cruising.

They have ruined this shoeLong time buyer of the Timp, have worn them for years. They have ruined this shoe. It is more narrow and the heal is shorter. They have tried to streamline this shoe, fixing things that were not broken. Very disappointed. Shoe now fees a half size too small, but even if you size up the shoe is too low on the heel.

Solid though a bit underwhelming...This iteration of the Timp is a solid daily trail runner that will likely transition nicely into a great hiking sneaker. The Timp series has always worked well for me. A no nonsense, moderately stacked yet relatively agile runner with lots of versatility. Altra marketed the Timp 4 as a tougher, trail-ready shoe and while they delivered somewhat on their promises, I'm not quite sure it was worth it. The shoe feels beefier. I think the stack height is similar to previous iterations but it really feels like more underfoot. That combined with the heavier and more durable materials lends to a somewhat clunky vibe. Even just in the hand, the shoe feels heavy relative to the Timp 2.0 and others. Its also not particularly protective. There is plenty of foam on this shoe, and the foam is soft with plenty of step-in comfort, but you still feel a lot of the annoying rocks and roots while out there for long runs. This isn't to say the Timp 4 is a bad shoe. The midsole material is fine for for plodding, slow miles on non-technical trials. The fit is good, if you are a fan of the Torin and other standard-fit Altras. And it seems like it should be a durable shoe. It just doesn't really excite me to put it on like old Timps did.

Fantastic first impressionsI have been in love with the Timps ever since I first tried on the Timp 2.0's. However, the Timp 2.0's used to fail on the outer sidewall after 400 km, a major flaw. Altra fixed this with a redesigned sidewall and upper in the Timp 3.0, however, the upper used to separate from the sidewall fabric after about 100-200 km (shoe was still structurally sound until 700-800 km with some shoe glue). In the Timp 4.0, Altra has fully addressed these issues. They have the redesigned sidewall that failed on the 2.0's and have removed the upper material that failed on the 3.0's. The outer sole is extremely grippy, and the shoe feels comfortable and slick. The tongue wraps around your ankle for a comfortable fit, and the shoe feels light and fast. I can't wait to use these on race day

The best Timp since the 1.5!I loved the Timp 1.5 and this is the best Timp since then however it's quite a bit different. I think the Timp 4 takes over as my favorite Timp and Altra shoe. Great Fit, super comfy and breathable, Good toe reinforcement, Very comfy and functional tongue with nice laces. This is where it gets a little different... the heal cup feels like it is something similar to neoprene. It's super comfy, required no break in period for me, and has a really nice finger loop to pull the shoe on. The traction is good but I wish the tread was a little more aggressive. I manly wear these shoes for hiking and the trail traction is pretty good . Bottom line I highly recommend this shoe.

CREAM OF THE CROPThe new TIMP 4 hits all the marks! I can't express how well this shoe preforms in all conditions and on a variety of terrain. I've tested this shoe on gravel, hard packed dirt, mud, rocks and roots, lofty soft pine needles, ice, snow, river beds (in water and out), flats and mountain granite. Whatever I throw at the new TIMP 4 it graciously accepts the challenge. Grip and traction is incredible. It's light and nibble but hardy when you need it to be. If you get your feet wet these drain and dry on the run within minutes. This is my grab on the go, I can run anything shoe!

17 miler right out of the boxI was a huge fan of the original Timp and 1.5. I really love the new 4s. The cushion is great and the tread seems super grippy. I wore them right out the box for a 17-mile trail run and they were great!! I'm really not sure what model I'll wear for my 100 in October...I love the Olympus, Mont Blanc and the Timps!
