Zero drop and wide toe box is so awesome that I am surprised other manufacturers have not done this. Lone Peak is the right balance of padding and road/trail feel. My first version was "all weather". Not required.

The ultras are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and haven't had a neuroma flare up since I got them. I wear a 14 3E and the altras in 14 wide fit me perfectly. Altra! Please make more models im wide sizes, i will buy them all!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality and service We have a few pairs of Lone Peaks, they don't last more than 100 miles and I love the shoes, but don't recommend anyone buy them due to low use failures. Specifically the back of the heel will wear through and cut your leg, even with light use. Poor customer service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from im happy i stockpiled some Lone Peak 6s im definitely skipping this generation entirely. like everything about this shoe is just wrong. just like many others have mentioned, these color ways are the worst. and why would you get rid of the most recognizable shoe print on trail? for something that looks like the halo needler bullets. bring back the iconic footprint on the bottom. even the badge on the tongue looks stupid. it feels too narrow because of all the additional padding near the heel. and the fabric you used is less breathable, even with that transparent side piece. this just looks like a very cheaply made shoe and a very poor attempt at making it look cool. get rid off all the plastic stuff too. i got a pair of the new Via Olympus and OMG that shoe is amazing, because of my love for the Via and hate for the LP7, im switching to the Olympus trail version.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Returned Unfortunately they just look pretty bad. I usually really like Altria's colorways and design but this is just a miss for every color this year. They felt like a normal lone peak which is great but can't get past the looks on these. I wear the all weather or LP6 for work and can get away with them but not these LP7s. Sad, I've had 2-3 pairs a year since the 4.5s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look no further. Amazing running shoe! I rarely leave product reviews, but given the quality of this shoe I HAD to leave a review for this product. This shoe is extremely comfortable and my feet feel very well supported as I run out on the trails. I have wider feet and always have trouble finding a shoe that fits them well. This one is PERFECT. I'm typically a size 13 in running shoes and was able to stick with that size given the wider toe box.
