You simply add the required water (each package will have a differing amount). Most ready to eat meals require boiled water, but some can take room temp or even cold water. For example, in this 3 day kit, it includes a Banana Berry smoothie which requires 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups of cold water (depending on your desired consistency) and just thoroughly mix to get yourself a yummy shake.
Whereas the Mountain Chili that also comes in this kit, you would add 2 cups of boiling water, stir it really good then seal the pouch and let it be for 10 - 12 minutes. After that time passes, unseal and enjoy!
