Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight Glad to have this in my truck if I need it. It gives some piece of mind especially in the cold winters up here. Will probably get another one for my back country pack. I highly recommend this!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I take it on all my trips... I take this with me on every trip no matter what the weather looks like. I just did an 81 mile hike along the NC/SC border in late July and even though southeast summers are brutal, I still brought it just in case a chill came in the night. Sure enough...I ended up getting into it every night around 1am. It's so light, you might as well bring it! It also is tough enough to put your stuff on when the ground is wet...great product, thanks SOL!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have already told my friends about it!!! Have not used it yet, but it looks super durable. I bought it for pack in hunts to put my bag inside it on really cold nights. I took it out, and it folded up and went back in its sack easily. The only reason i didnt give it five stars is I have not used yet, and the zipper only goes 1/4 down. But im sure it will work as advertised. Bart [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The perfect summer ultra-lite bag I've now used this bivvy bag in high altitude wilderness settings several times and it works. Summertime high CA Sierra forest gets about 45f at night and i was still warm in this bag. I realize this bag is of confined space inside to reduce the amount of air your body has to heat but im a big guy. 6'5" 233 lbs and would like a bit more room at the top to move my arms a bit for comfort. The only thing i don't like about this bag is the width of the top for shoulder room. And since i use this bag recreational I'd like another color. I think Adventure Medical doesn't ABSOLUTELY have to stick to the "emergency" aspect of use. Its a fine product so get more customers by offering sises for bigger or smaller people and other colors. If you cant put more room in the top of this bag because of air heating issues, then what about all that space in the bottom when used by a short person. This fine bag is perfect for John Q Normal. Great idea anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bag is small Bought this bag with great enthusiasm as part of my lightweight sleep system. But unfortunately the bivvy was so small i could not even get inside the thing. I am only 6 ' 1" and this just is not effective as advertised, I mean my legs would survive some weather. Let me know when SOL makes a bag that the rest of us can use as described. Great bag, just needs to be bigger or at least have the option to purchase larger size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't go wrong-great price, solid performance & super packab haven't had a bad night in the bivy yet. waiting to test it in minus 20C and lower this winter. I anticipate good results. It's dry, warm, very packable and if I happen to lose it, it only cost me one sixth the price of a 3 layer bivy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great bivvy however... This bivvy is great: cheap, helps you stay warm enough in the 40s F, packs light! However, a 2-person Escape Bivvy would be perfect! It would make a great addition to the current line-up
