Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight but very warm! I bought these for my daughter and they are great warmth and lightweight! Also, since they are wool they wick moisture and don't get stinky!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm Mitts I quite enjoy these mitts, but I do find they wear out after about 2 winters of wearing them lots. It is great that they have still been available though. I love them, so I keep replacing them. They have nice little features too: The clasp to join them, the pull loop and material that does not fuzz or separate. Just the silicone doesn't last.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as warm as I had hoped. I have been using these mittens for about a month and now that we are fully into a mild Denver winter, I find that they don't keep my hands warm. I purchased them for casual, around town use. Thinking back, I should have considered the reviewer that said his gf uses them for running and they keep her hands warm. I'm sure they would be great for that purpose. Walking around town in temps in the 20s, though, my hands feel cold in these mittens. They are good quality, but just not warm enough for what I needed (and Denver winter temps are not that cold). I recommend them for temps over 30, or over 20 if exercising while wearing them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Falling apart in less than a year My wife purchased these as liners for her Mt. Baker shells. They keep her hands warm but anything below15 degrees she needs to add the shells to keep her hands warm. She likes the mitts and wears them daily for work outside but they don't hold up. In less than a year the silicone grip pads on the palms are coming off and they're staring to get holes in them. Normal wear and tear (not holding anything, just using them to keep your hands warm) they should not be falling apart already.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Go-To Dog-Walking, Truck Packing, Lunch in the backcountry, driving, etc. etc., these glove kill it. The material is super thick and durable - I don't worry about cutting it on ski edges, or having it pill like fleece gloves. I wear these everywhere. They fit snug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mitts for their weight I purchased these a present for my girlfriend as she was training for a marathon. She raved about how warm they kept her always cold hands despite being relatively thin. The loop on the gloves makes it easy to attach them to a backpack or jacket when they are not being worn. They held up through 4 months of running 5 times a week, and being washed countless times! I will always purchase Outdoor Research products as I have never been disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mitts This mittens are awesome! Very light but keeps my hands nice and toasty when walking my dogs in about 20 degree weather. Any colder and I would probably need some liners as well. Overall, a great product.
