Mountain Hardwear Medusa Mitt

Mountain Hardwear Medusa Mitt

Does this have a temp rating? Wondering if it can be worn all winter in MN?

Asked by: Jen1220
Hey Jen, The North Face Women's Mossbud Swirl Reversible Jacket does not have a temperature rating. This jacket is designed to keep you warm on cool fall and spring days, but would keep you warm in colder weather if you are doing high-output activities like skiing or snowshoeing. It would not be ideal for just walking outside in the coldest of Midwest winters.

I'm looking to replace the liner of my NF jacket. I know this is zip in compatible. Does it have the loops at the wrists to snap it into the outer shell? If not, how does the sleeves stay in place when taking on/off the jacket with the outer shell on?

Asked by: Mika
Hiya Mika, thanks for your question! Sorry, the Mossbud Swirl Reversible Jacket is not a compatible liner. The only zip-in compatible liners are the Women's Denali Jacket and Women's Nuptse 2 Vest. You can find them here: http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Women-s-Denali-Jacket_10094636_10208_10000001_-1_ http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Women-s-Nuptse-2-Vest_10284745_10208_10000001_-1_ Hope this helps!

Is this jacket warmer or as warm as a thermoball jacket

Asked by: Lovebug1999
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! Actually, this jacket does not have a temperature rating. In fact, most jackets do not have temperature ratings. This is for several reasons. Mainly, it's because warmth is a subjective thing, unique to each person. Not only that, but there are other factors that can affect a person's (jacket's) warmth: wind, humidity, activity level, what else your wearing, etc. However, there are still helpful hints you can use to guide you. Best bet will be to check the insulation. TNF Mossbud Swirl Reversible Jacket uses Heatseeker synthetic insulation. TNF ThermoBall Full Zip Jacket uses PrimaLoft ThermoBall synthetic insulation which is built to mimic the weight, warmth and compressibility of down without the cost of down. PrimaLoft is arguably the highest quality of synthetic insulations. TNF ThermoBall Full Zip Jacket is one of The North Face's signature jackets. Hope this has helped you out.
