Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect beanie and warmth for your head I received this beanie au gratis with a Moosejaw order and let me say I gladly would have paid retail for it. The fact that the sides come down and cradle your ears is invaluable in cold or windy conditions. The windstopper keeps the wind out. Ive ditched all my other lesser beanies for this piece of gear. Its elastic and should fit multiple head sizes, dries quickly and very lightweight. Can stuff in a jacket pocket and not know its there. It is one of my go to items for my cold weather kit. The only downside is sometimes it makes earphones fall out if you're walking around, but it does what it is designed to do with technical finesse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hat, great coverage, blocks wind well I've been wanting one of these since a buddy had one on a backpacking trip. I don't know why I waited so long to wrap my 23 1/2" melon in one of these. The large was too big and I returned it for a medium. It fit perfect. What I like is the stretch cuff, which holds nicely even when sleeping with it on while camping. It's not too snug and very unlike the standard knit caps that end up being pulled down around your face during sleep while cold weather camping. All in all it's very warm and will be my "go to" hat for colder weather. I will be getting another one, along with one for my son.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great warm head and ear coverage! XL fits large head! Granted we've only had a couple cold days thus far -- and no polar vortex yet -- but I can tell by the fit and ear coverage that's I'm gonna love this dude when that weather arrives. I'm 6'4" with a large, well crafted noggin -- the XL is a perfect fit including sufficient length to cover my ears. The logo is a bit much but since I can't see it, that's really "their" problem, ya know?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warmest "beanie" I've ever used. I am a Search and Rescue volunteer in my county and we are out in the coldest conditions. The Dome Perignon covers more of your head than most other beanies, which means less heat loss. Strong cold winds are stopped in their tracks by this product. It also creates a pocket of warm air above your head, adding to its insulation. I didn't know a beanie could be so warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warmest hat in the world My brother bought this as a Christmas gift for me a few years ago and it's the best hat I've ever owned. No matter how cold it is outside or how many hours I'm amidst winter's icy grip, I have never once cried, "my ears are cold!!!" while wearing this hat. You can take this from an extremely wussy cold weather enduring outdoor enthusiast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hat, will keep you warm The quality of this hat is great. My boyfriend absolutely loves it. He usually wears a medium fedora or other dress-type hat, but needed a large in this beanie. It is definitely windproof and will keep your ears warm on those cold windy days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Snug and warm Have yet to really test the hat below freezing. One minor issue is the hat over my ears makes it difficult to hear.. I feel like my head is totally enclosed, just me probably. But I am sure it will be warm!
