Weight: 2 oz

WINDSTOPPER fabrics utilize an ultra-light, ultra-thin membrane to block wind while allowing interior moisture vapor to escape. This will keep your body and your inner layers dry and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good functional gloves if you need to work with your fingers in the cold. I love these gloves, and have bought many times. Marmot has improved these from earlier models. I can still use my fingers without taking off my gloves doing my job outside, and they will keep your hands reasonably warm as long as you are active. Blocks the wind well.,,,,Of course, there are no perfect gloves for every situation. These are not insulated, but do seem to hold in warm decently. These are not heavy duty gloves, but I've found that most gloves wear out anyway from the pressure of weight, the finger seams fail, even if the gloves are thicker. If you got caught in a downpour, these will get wet but will dry pretty fast.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from WINDSTOPPER REALLY WORKS! To be honest, I thought from the description that these would be a light fleece glove with Windstopper added - turns out they're simply a "shell" glove with Windstopper as the star of the show. But that's not bad - they really do stop wind, which is execllent, and much like putting your hand in a plastic bag, they also retain heat well, so they're warmer than you'd think on first appearance. And, in spite of not being GoreTex, they shed light rain and snow quite well, too. Besides, you could also wear them as a liner in another glove and get a great layering effect for your hands. Definitely glad I got these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very functional, uncomfortable, poor durability If these gloves had been implemented better, they would be my favorite pieces of gear. They block the wind perfectly, retain heat, and are very water resistant. The fit is great, and they provide a perfect warmth level when hiking, pretty much regardless of temperature.,,,,Unfortunately they have very rough seams on the inside, making them uncomfortable without a liner. In addition, they have some durability issues. Mine are showing seam wear in the fingers, with exposure of the windstopper membrane, and the non leather areas of the fingers are starting to thin out. ,,,,Bottom line: Perfect glove if used with a liner, and if you don't mind only getting a season or two out of them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gloves. Blocks the wind These gloves are great. They fit true to size and do just what the description said...block the wind. Pretty much no insulation though so keep in mind before buying. I have yet to use them in really cold temps but they keep my hands warm when riding my motorcycle in 45 deg. temps. Just order a size up and get a pair of liners and these things will become quite versatile

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good dexterity I use these over some technical lining gloves for when lead ice climbing in situations where I need max dexterity at the expense of something warmer (the "this looked a lot easier in the guide book climbs..."). They have a really good close fit, a grippy palm and offer fair amount of protection from water (but they are not waterproof as you would expect)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an outstanding glove. I will have these gloves forever. They're great in all conditions. This is my favorite set of gloves ever. They're sleek and stylish and keep my hands warm in whatever conditions come my way. I live in MI and it's cold here for four months and I never take them off over that time. They're not bulky and they stay warm and dry even in a snowball fight. I would recommend these gloves to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Windproof, packable. My first reaction was, " Damn these things are thing" ,,,,But I took the advice from someone else who reviewed the gloves and took the advice.,,,,I ordered a size up, and now throw a liner glove on first. I love them like this, fits just right, and cheap bang for the buck!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice glove, but XL is smaller than expected This glove fits quite a bit tighter than previous Marmot glove products I have purchased in size XL. Given that Marmot (like pretty much all other glove makers) offers either no products or very few products in size XXL, that is a big issue for me.
