The MSR Dromedary Bag is a water storage bag for alpine and hiking adventures. The Dromedary Bag has been constructed with heavy-duty Cordura® fabric and laminated with food-grade polyurethane that can secure freezing, boiling, and even room temperature water. Oh geez! Did you just refill your drom bag, only to immediately drop it on the rocky slope back up to camp? No problem, it can totally handle that. The webbing at the outside edges helps with hanging when at camp and attaching into your pack. The cap is a 3-in-1, for speedy filling, drinking, and pouring when you're taking a break or just hanging around camp. What a wonderful vessel to have around, and you can even procure sold-separately accessories like a shower or hydration kit to make the adventure even better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rugged, resistant and easy to handle. Bought this about two months ago and have taken it on three overnight kayak camping trips. It looks small and flimsy when you first unpack it, but it is extremely rugged and resistant. Once filled with ten liters of water it will be heavy, but easy to handle thanks to the cordage around the perimeter and the flat oval shape. Will fit very easily in any kayak compartment and will not slosh around while paddling. You will barely know it is there. It can also be hung from anywhere, and the cap system with three different pouring options makes it all the more convenient. Will be another one for extended trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best water carrier I have ever owned I own the 10L dromedary in black with the spigot valve. This bag is extremely durable the material is very strong all the sides are heat sealed to hold water. The shape hangs perfect from a limb or? I started out with those ungodly collapsible plastic bottles years ago but this carrier holds fresh water perfectly and it's design and color will let you use it as a shower if you put it in the sun. Anytime I can use gear for multiple purposes and eliminate something from my bag it's a plus and when it's as sturdy as this bag and works this well I bought two.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best for transport but not for water hydration I got the 10L hoping to use it as a hydration kit (I bought the hose system as well). The bag itself is incredible and I'm really happy with the purchase.. I ease of mind alone of knowing you can have 10L of boiling or cold water with you at any time is great. Though since the 10L is so big... you are forced to put it inside your backpack as opposed to an outside hydration pocket. For some reason my spigot came loose inside my pack and it drenched 6L down to the sleeping bag :(. Like i said though, would highly recommend for transport alone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Solution for use with a MSR Miniworks Water Filter I have the MSR Miniworks water filter, and while it works perfect when filtering into a Nalgene, let's face it that there is only so much room in a Nalgene bottle. In comes the dromedary bag, the perfect companion to anyone with such a water filter, allowing the simple screw connection and allows you to filter away without the worry about loosing a single drop of precious water. Not only that, but the standard dromedary bag is well built and can stand to daily camp use. I love my dromedary's and plan to extend my collection as time goes on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 L Bag is the Bag for Me! I use this bag for everything. It is great for group cooking, doing the dishes, showers, and storing extra clean water— I clean when I get bored. ,,,,I love that I can pour boiling water right into the bag. This is great if I boil more water than I need. This is also useful for winter camping. ,,,,The durability of the Dromedary Bag is worth the extra weight over the DromLite. This bag is durable enough to break ice if it forms in the bag. This is a great feature if you do a lot of winter camping.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't not rid the container of an after taste. Bottom line; water tastes like it was stored in an inner tube. I tried multiple baking-soda, and lemon solutions and while it helped, the "rubber" taste is still there. I gave up and threw it in the trash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from baby seal We have used these MSR dromedaries for years because they last and don’t leak. Now I have one of every size. While they are tough enough to be used as backrests in a sea kayak that is not the intended everyday use. What these MSR are affectionately nicknamed by outfitters is “baby seals” as they get a bit slippery when wet but hold water tight even under pressure. The exterior is durable enough to put up with all kinds of terrain, weather and even hanging in trees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME SAUCE First off, I carry a 48oz Nalgene bottle EVERYWHERE I GO. I love this bottle for day to day everything. However, it can be a bulky beast to deal with out in the backcountry. I went with the 4L and the size is perfect for my day pack and weekender pack hydration sleeve. If you are looking for a more backpackable option to replace you're big bulky Nalgene bottle, go with this. PS YOU CAN POUR BOILING WATER IN IT PSS THIS MAKES FOR A WARM CUDDLE BUDDY ON COLD NIGHTS
