The La Sportiva Women's Miura VS Climbing Shoe is a rock climbing shoe for those that have a thing against laces. With a hook and loop closure system, you'll get everything you love from the laced Miura, but you'll totally get on the rock or gym wall much faster since you don't have to do any tying of the laces. Edge like no tomorrow with the Slingshot Rand and Powerhinge System and the 4mm Vibram® XS Grip2 rubber will stick like glue. The leather upper stretches, softens and forms to your foot over time while the Dentex lining helps to prevent too much stretching. Underfoot you'll be free from any lining for a close-to-the-rock feel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Converted over from 5.10!! After yrs of 5.10 shoes, I finally tried these Miura's. I couldn't be more pleased. I have a hard to fit foot and just figured I was stuck in 5.10. Ta Da! I love my Miura's. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit Beginner climber, was a bit snug/stiff at first but after a couple sessions they fit perfectly. I wear a size 8.5 in normal shoes and got an 8.5 in these. I have wider than average feet and they are fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best Sometimes you just have to replace your favorite climbing when you foolishly leave them at the base of a Squamish climb. Thank you Moosejaw for the usual great deal on gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best shoe I've ever had I didn't think that a shoe could make that much of a difference until I tried these. I've had several pairs now and will continue to buy them in the future. They are great for indoor and outdoor climbing, though I wear 1/2 size larger for comfort outside. I started out wearing size 35 (I wear street size 5.5 to 6) and, while I could get them on my feet with a very snug fit, I found that I developed corns and they pinched my big toe. After a while, I moved into a full size up. The 36s initially felt like clown shoes but now I've gotten my confidence back on small footholds. The velcro is great; you can adjust them how you want. They fit so nicely that I have sometimes come down from a climb and realized that I hadn't cinched the middle velcro. I have a narrow heel and, while the larger size seems to feel like it will slip, it never does. I highly recommend these shoes for someone who really wants to improve their technique. You will not be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit I bought these shoes about a month ago, I'm using them every day and I got used to them very quick, great fit, great design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these shoes!! They're only my second pair of climbing shoes and much more aggressive than my last set (La Sportiva Nagos), but I'm loving how they perform. Climbing ~3 times per week indoors and they were broke in within a week. I got the same size that I had for the Nagos and they're a bit tight - probably could've gone up half a size - but they work just fine. It's nice to be able to boulder and not have my toe sliding off holds all the time!!

I wear a street shoe size 9.5. What size would I be in these?

Asked by: meou
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us. Since fit is so important when it comes to climbing shoes, it's best to try them on before buying. However, if that's not possible, you might want to bracket your original shoe size with other sizes and sending back the ones that don't fit. Since you want a snug fit, you might want to size 1-2 sizes down from your regular street shoe size. If you're regularly a 9.5 I would try between a 38 and 41. I hope this helps!

La Sportiva footwear is built and offered on European half sizes, which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives them four extra sizes per size run, and ultimately gives you a better fit.

Please review La Sportiva's size conversion chart above to help determine your ideal size. Below you will find additional information about how to fit and break in the different styles of La Sportiva footwear, which will also help guide you to the correct size.

• As a general rule soft shoes like climbing shoes require a tighter fit, or about two to three sizes smaller than your street shoe size.
• La Sportiva recommends you fit your trad climbing shoes one to two sizes under your street shoe size.
• La Sportiva offers a lot of lasts, and each offers a different fit and feel. Remember to factor in potential stretching.
• Unlined slip-lasted shoes tend to stretch a bit more than lined shoes, or about one full size.
• Lined shoes stretch about a half size.

• PERFORMANCE FIT - offers a high performance fit and a downturned last.
• TECH FIT - a more technical fit and a last with neutral profile.
• COMFORT FIT - a comfortable fit and a last with more volume and a neutral profile.

• Find your US Size in the guide above, then find the Euro Size conversion and add one half size.
• The ideal size holds your toes ever so slightly away from the front of the boot while the lacing system is snug across the top of your arch.
• If you can try to boots on beforehand, make sure you wear the same size and weight socks you would typically wear with the boots, and any orthotics or custom footbeds you use.
• It is ideal to fit boots later in the day since feet are prone to swell slightly as a day progresses.
• Wear your boots indoors only until you are confident about the fit.
• Your foot should feel snug (not tight) from the arch back into the heel pocket with just a minimum lift as you walk. If your heel lifts make sure the lacing is snug and not too loose.
• Your toes should NOT touch the front of the boot, but when you kick the toe into the floor, you should know where the front of the boot is. You want just enough room to wiggle your toes.
• If your toes or sides of your feet feel squished, most likely the width is too narrow and the boot will not work for you.
• If your toes touch the front of the boot, most likely it is too short and you need the next half size up.
• Make sure to keep all original packaging that came with your boots until you are sure that you are happy with your purchase.
