Rated 5 out of 5 by from Survived Aconcagua Winds Bought the Bibler several years ago and it is still doing great. Just returned from Aconcagua where ave temps on the mtn were -20 with winds 80 mph. One night a raging storm had a team of Moldovans completely cleaning the snow and ice filled refugios for shelter and offering to make room for me (Thank you again guys!!) the tent had no problem and I enjoyed a good nights sleep at around 21,000 ft. It kept me warm, dry, and sheltered in every condition during 3 weeks on the mountain in every condition. Never had a problem or a concern.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My lab rates it a four paw tent! This is the Lexus of tents. Not just 'cuz it costs so much, but its durable as all heck. Sheds wind, rain and snow with aplomb. And its built to last forever. Not particularly difficult to set up, and roomy enogh for me, my girflriend, and our yellow lab. Only observation i have about this tent is the same as everyone who owns a Bibler. For the price you pay for this top-of-the-line tent, it should come with the seams already sealed. My advice, pour a glass of wine, set up the tent and just go to it. I sugest using a small brush to help seal the seams as you apply the goo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pricy, but worth it. a great backpacking tent, lightweight, with plenty of room for two people, or three very friendly people. i'm 6'2 and there is plenty of length for me and some left over for my boots at the end. would've been nice not to have to seam seal the outside, but is worth the bother. will keep out the rain, but make sure to get out any water you accidentally bring in, such as wet sleeping bags, before you back it back up. easy enough for one to setup, with two it's a breeze. perfect for windy situations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great shelter. used this tent two years in a row on Aconcagua polish. weather could not have been more different on each of these trips. spent 5 nights in storms @ 19,400 feet. not a lot of extra room with two climbers, but warm. had 1/2 of frost to remove each morning from inside of tent. tent was the most stable and quiet in high camp. only draw back was the vesitible which is after market only useful in no wind does not seal well & we had to shovel out entry way each morning. i would not use this tent again in a situation where cooking in a vestible was mandatory.
