Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst shoe ever I bought this shoe after retiring a pair of Scarpas. While I totally understand they weren't going to meet the same quality, I figured I'd give adidas a shot. Epic Fail! These shoes are uncomfortable and noisy. Every step I take is met with squeak, squeak, squeak and it hasn't even let up after they have been broken in. These shoes don't break well as you walk which is uncomfortable for even daily use. The insoles are rigid, almost rubber and even the picture doesn't match the product material. This picture shows more of a suede and not the woven almost ripstop material that it is, which still doesn't breath well. All in all this shoe is the worst I have ever purchased. I was hoping for somewhere between the a samba and an outdoor shoe but got a stiff, hard rubbery clog of a shoe. Advice... buy Scarpa.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Adidas men's Terre shift solo shoe I ordered online thru the store. When I got them I tried them for 2 weeks to break them in but they were still very stiff, no arch support and gave me blisters. The design is pretty cool but I wouldn't dare to get another pair. The only cool thing is I didn't have to pay for returning them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quite uncomfortable The shoes worked great for the approach and was even able to climb a 5.10c in them but I would not purchase them again. They are just too uncomfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it! Rubber is great in wet or dry. Used pretty heavily for the past season and are holding up well. They breath well and I personally think they look cool. Ive used them to do easier scrambling, and on easier routes <5.5 because I was to lazy to put on climbing shoes. The fit could be slightly tighter, but Then again they are just approach shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best looking kid on the block now! I know these are supposed to be "approach" shoes, but since I seem to be the only person in Utah that doesn't climb, I have no intention of "approaching" anything other than attractive women and tasty sandwiches. Out of the box these shoes are brighter than the picture suggests but with a little wear I think they should be socially acceptable in a few weeks. They are nice and lightweight, have a high arch (which I love) and are pretty snug around my foot. . Comfy, stylish and they come with a free bumper sticker and captain's hat, so what's NOT to like?!
