Rated 5 out of 5 by from Western Mountering Sleeping Bag Took this 10 degree bag on the 5 day Hermit Loop backpacking trip in Grand Canyon. As it was March the temps varied, and this bag covered them all. Thinking I will need the 30 degree bag for trips in warmer weather. Great purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bag! I recently bought this bag for cold shoulder season and Winter camping. So far, I have only used it once on a 29 degree (F) night, and it worked great! I usually wear down booties because while my body may be warm, my feet get cold. I did not bring booties on this outing, and I only had my Smartwool mountaineering socks on. My feet never even got close to chilling. From my gear test at 29 degrees (F), I can be confident this bad will hold up well below that temp. I would be fine using this bag down to 10 degrees (F). For context, I used this bag with a Nemo Cosmo Lite Insulated mat, and I was wearing mid weight synthetic long johns while sleeping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I guess I thinks it's not too bad Its a cheap bag for a tight-wad customer like me who refuses to put any other consideration above low prices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Lightest Most Compressible 10* bag you will find! Western Mountaineering sets the bar that all other manufacturers reach for. I have used this bag for the last 3 years, it still looks and insulates like brand new. I can fit this sleeping bag, my Thermarest Neo-Air and a silk bag liner in a 10L sea to summit e-vent compression dry bag. I am currently on a 18 month cycling trip and this bag has done great so far. I will be in the Andes later this year and I have no doubts this bag will work exceptionally well! If you are in the market for a bag that is lightweight, highly compressable and will last for 10+ years than I would highly recommend this Versalite from WM! Forget the price because you can pass this bag down to your kids when you want to get a new one and it will serve them for years as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cannot imagine a better sleeping bag The Versalite is absolutely incredible! I have used it in conditions ranging from 0F to about 65F, without ever getting cold or too hot. I am a woman, so it's comfort rating should be around 20F, but this bag can definitely be pushed far below that! Even if it's a warm night, you will want to cuddle with this bag. It's incredible how small it packs down (XS sack I believe), yet when you take it out, the Versalite is a huge, luxurious cloud. I have found this bag to be durable as well and absolutely no problems with the zipper. It hasn't shed much down at all, but you can always have them add more at their warehouse in San Jose, CA. Western Mountaineering continues to raise the bar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this sleeping bag! I love this sleeping bag. It has kept me warm in nights when it dropped close to 0F. It is super light and packs down very well. I have never seen or found another sleeping bag that has this quality of build, temperature rating, while being so lightweight. My only problem with it is the type of material used on the outside of the bag. It seems to be very durable yet it is not really great to the touch. Perhaps this is just a personal preference. Would I buy this again, absolutely. Although I expect this bag to last for the next 10-20 years. I have read that you can send them back to WM or go to the local factory in San Jose and get them to put more down into it. I'm considering doing this before leaving the country as I've noticed a lot of feathers slowly creeping their way out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sleeping Bag This is without a doubt the best sleeping bag that I've ever owned. As far as I'm concerned, Western Mountaineering is the Rolls Royce of sleeping bags, and I've never been disappointed by their products. I've used this sleeping bag during the fall and spring in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and it's never failed me. The only drawback is its price. This sleeping bag is very expensive, but after you bite the bullet and spend the cash, the investment is well worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply an awesome sleeping bag. I ordered the versalite about a month ago. I did tons of research b/c $500 is alot of money in my world. After much deliberation, I narrowed it down to this bag and a similar feathered friends bag. Ultimately I chose WM b/c I could not find a single negative review anywhere. I've tried the bag out twice now and I am absolutely thrilled with it. I truly cannot say enough good things about it. I consider myself a cold sleeper and was warm and toasty on a 25 degree night with no tent and nothing but a base layer on. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are impeccable, it packs down really small, it's super light, super comfortable, and super warm.
