Rated 2 out of 5 by from The pattern is great, the fit is mediocre. If you use a bow, don't even bother trying. I really wanted to love this jacket because the pattern is excellent, and I love the UA brand. However, I haven't come across a jacket that fits me worse at this price and when layered with UA's own layering systems, you're going to lose all necessary range needed to draw a bow back. First off, for reference, I am a 147lb male and am 5' 8" tall with a slim, but athletic build. Based off of the measurement guidelines established on this page, I should technically be able to fit into the medium. Well, I do not. It is incredibly tight around my shoulders and the process of drawing a bow requires massive flexibility in fabric around the lats and shoulder and you simply don't get it with this. just crossing my arms created so much tightness in my back and technically, my size is closer to a small in most circumstances. I wore this jacket with the standard UA coldgear base layer and the UA hunting extreme layer atop of that and couldn't move my arms at all. It was surprising to me how restrictive it was with only two base layers beneath it. It was enormous around my stomach and I felt as though I was in a skirt. The arms drooped far past my wrists too. It was loose where it shouldn't be and far too tight where it shouldn't be. I don't have much to say about the insulation capabilities as I returned it immediately because I knew it would not be an adequate piece of clothing for bow-hunting. I would look elsewhere for now. This line of clothing looks amazing but the fit of this jacket is bad. I hope they can figure out a way to make better fitting clothing because I'd love to continue to support them in all the activities I pursue. '

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Its not warm at all, its tight in the shoulders and loose in the guts I bought this with high hopes. I'm sick of being cold and wet. they lack any cold ratings other then "late season" I have to ask late season were? must be late season florida. This jacket is less warm then my lightweight gym hoodie, I can wear it in my house at 20 degrees celsius and not even break a sweat. this jacket is chilly to wear in 5 degrees let alone the -20 we see in my province in "late season" The fit is terrible. I have a 39 chest measurement; and I don't have full range of arm movement in this jacket it comes up tight on the back if I lift my arms 90 degrees. it actualy gives me resistence and makes it hard to shoulder a rifle. Its supposed to be a tight fitting athletic cut, Its actually cut bell shaped not fitted, It has a 40 inch chest and a 42 inch waist. Its ment for an out of shape truck hunter not a lean back country hunter which is the image and use they seem to be pushing. The material feels like I'm wearing cardboard, it was a little better after a washing, but it need like ten runs through the laundry.... and then the DWR is going to be gone... I highly recommend looking at/trying it on in person before buying it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great All-Around Versatile hunting jacket! New Favorite I am 5'10, 175, Athletic (above average biceps/shoulders), and I have a Medium. Fits great! I have room to layer with 2-3 layers easily. The RR pattern is great for almost all conditions. I bowhunt and gun hunt in this jacket. It is NOT noisy. I actually appreciate the covered forearms for two reasons-- I hunt where it is nasty, and the covering helps greatly with briers and brambles; it also reduces bulk in the forearm to the point where I don't need a bow sleeve. 2 chest pockets and two generous slash pockets are plenty for me. it is a great cut and a looks awesome. It is warm, but not overly so. Perfect for those frosty mornings with a layer or two underneath. Thanks Under Armour!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed This pattern has always interested me... wasn't sure because I live in IL. However, after taking them out in mid-December for bow hunting, I am totally sold. The fit of the jacket is perfect if you have an athletic build (plus a few lbs is okay as well) and the function is awesome. Sat in 20 degrees with single digit windchill for hours. Also, thank you UA for your great customer service and finding the right gear. 5 stars all the way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this set Warm and comfortable. Fits nice like real clothing instead of traditional baggy, puffy, oversized hunting clothing. Only bad things I can say about it is that the zippers don't have a pull tab, rather a small piece of cord that's very difficult to grab with thick gloves on. And the pants could use back pockets Other than that I'm very glad I got it, one of the best parts is that unlike the other UA hunting stuff there's no neon colors except for inside the pockets which you can't see anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Best I've used in CO high country So to start off I purchased a XL. I am 6'1" with a 6'4" wing span. I weight 190 lbs and athletic build. Almost always, coats are too short in length and too wide. Finally a XL that's not for wide folks. Perfect amount of room to layer. These coats keep you warm. No question in that. I wear a compression long sleeves base layer, a 1/4 zip and then this coat. I have had no issues at 11,000 feet in the CO mountains. It is pretty quiet when squeezing through the scrub brush, and has that heavy duty feel to the fabric. This is the perfect size and weight for CO elk RIFLE hunters. I do not consider this to be a bow hunting jacket. I prefer really tight, lightweight coats for bow hunting. This however is the perfect size and weight for an elk hunt. And the hood is a must. The orange that is inside is just 2 small patches behind the breast pockets. Even if you unzip it almost all the way down, you can't see it. So that complaint is mute. The coat has brown on the bottom back, and the arms. Some discrepancy in photos, but it is the brown and camo. UA was going to fix this on the website, but until then, I'm mentioning it. This coat has the durability of carhart but not the bulky thickness. Perfect length for the athletic type. Perfect weight. And plenty warm for those negative days in the high country. I've always worn badlands coats, but they are too short and wide. So glad I went to this UA late season. Almost want to buy another and keep it boxed up for 5-7 years or more from now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I like everything about the jacket but one thing I needed a silent jacket for still hunting deer in Northern Minnesota. Wool is an obvious choice and I figured I would try this jacket. I love everything about it but the noisy canvas pieces attached on the sleeves, shoulders and bottom of the back. What is the point of wool clothing if you attach noisy fabric all over it? It rubs up against the underbrush and makes a lot of noise. Thinking about sending it back or trying to remove the brown canvas pieces myself.
