The North Face Women's Stretch Down Jacket is a insulated jacket for mobility in the backcounty. Hang around camp, stay warm, and when it's time to move there won't be any restrictions. The North Face has stuffed plenty of 550 fill down into the baffles to keep you warm while keeping weight down to just under 24 ounces. The active fit runs close while the fabric keeping everything together is a nylon/elastane stretch taffeta blend. Move left, it'll follow. Arms above your head for pull-ups on that tree branch? Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great find! I feel very fortunate to stumble upon this jacket! I had originally scoped out the TNF Thermoball and Patagonia Nano Puff jackets because I wanted a warm, light-weight, easily compressible jacket that could be stuffed into my luggage without feeling like I over- or underpacked. However, I quickly realized this jacket provided all of the above characteristics AND had the better fit (active, form-fitting). It also allows for full range of motion and I really like the matte finish on the jacket. As a reference: 5'5", 135lbs, avid climber, fits perfectly!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Picture is misleading. The product is nice looking, stylish, and very comfortable. With that being said, the image on TNF shows the jacket looking thick and practically stuffed with goose down. When I received the jacket, I realized that was not the case. It's actually very thin and not up to handling temps 35 F and below. For me to stay warm, I wear a shirt, a sweatshirt, a hoodie, and then this jacket. I'm very disappointed with this purchase and if it wasn't such a hassle for me to return anything with my hectic schedule, this would have went back instantly. This was a gift and even the person who purchased it for me is disappointed with it as well. He described this jacket as a "windbreaker and nothing more."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfortable I wore this to Boston where it was snowing and sleeting and raining all in one week. This jacket withheld through all of the weather and did just fine. I got lots of compliments on it and it was really warm and comfortable. The hood came in handy as well, no need for me to hold an umbrella around. I plan to wear it to Iceland in a few weeks as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this jacket in every color This is really a great jacket. It keeps me warm in 40-50 degree windy weather. It's light and comfortable, and it's stylish and flattering. The only thing I would change is the poofiness of the sleeves, but it is a down jacket. I really love it, overall.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I was very disappointed with the overall product Overall I was extremely disappointed with the jacket. I have Bren brand loyal up until this purchase. I am afraid with the price of this product and its quality I will no longer purchase north face products. The garment just feels cheap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit, very comfortable and keeps warm Wear it almost everyday. I live in Portland which is very rainy and 40-50 degrees Fahrenheit. So this jacket is great for cold rainy weather

Is the rabbit grey really grey or is it more of a lavender grey?

Asked by: laurielynne
Thanks for the question! The Rabbit Grey color is definitely more lavender with Grey undertones. It is not solely your standard Grey. Hope this helps a little!
