DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

The North Face HyVent

The North Face HyVent
HyVent is a waterproof, breathable technology that has been lab-tested and field-tested to ensure durability and breathability. Interior moisture permeates the layers to ensure dryness while keeping out rain and snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved them Just went skiing out west and on both a bright sunny day and a wintery snowy ones these pants were great. They had cents for when it was warm and were wind proof and warm for the cold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent pant, but runs small These snow pants are wonderful! Their straight fit makes them flattering and not bulky. They're lightweight but very warm and also flexible so they move with you. Definitely follow the size chart measurements because the sizes seem to run smaller than other brands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yes I would buy the product again I use the pants for skiing... They are a bit long and the waste is a bit snug. But love the color!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All I needed. Ordered an 8L and they looked cute, fit great....for standing around, but when I sat to adjust boots, etc., fit more like snugg jeans. I returned and ordered a size up so that I could roll around w kids in the snow & not be constricted. They stayed on, and were so comfy I didn't even think about them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these pants! I think I ordered every pair of snow pants on the planet before settling on The North Face Jeppeson Pant. As soon as I put them on I knew they were "the one". These pants are form fitting but flattering (not at all bulky!) and the fabric is stretchy so it really moves with your body and doesn't ride up or down on you while you are out there moving around. These are super comfortable pants even with an under layer. What really works for me is that they come in a short (petite) length which was proving to be a major problem with other brands I was trying. Also, there are Velcro tabs that help adjust at the waistline so if your weight fluctuates or if have plans to lose a few pounds they should continue to work with you for some time before you have to replace them. There are also inner thigh vents for warmer days. The matching Jeppeson coat really works great with the pants allowing you the same flexibility of material for freedom of movement. The coat has a ton of pockets and vents that help to regulate your temperature and keep you comfortable in most conditions. I really love this set. I stayed warm and dry skiing and was just as comfortable in my ski clothes for drinks at the bar afterwards. Really can't recommend the Jeppeson line enough for short, curvy people. I am a beginner level skier but I think the Jeppeson would be awesome set for all snow sport levels and I am thrilled I don't feel, look or sound like a roly-poly wearing a garbage bag on the slopes - which really helps with self-esteem when you are in ski school.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I'm so glad I finally found long snow pants!! I'm 5'9 and have spent the last 5 years in snow pants that are 3 inches too short for me. They are a bit pricey, but I think they're worth it. I ordered the 6 long (as suggested by their sizing tool) and they are a perfect fit. When I first got them I was skeptical of how light weight they are compared to my Columbia pants. However, they have proven to be very warm!! I walked my dog yesterday (it was 0 with the wind chill) and stayed warm the entire time with just leggings underneath. I really like the straight fit. They are flattering but still look like snow pants. My only complaint is that they do not sell long sizes at my local store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect ski pants! My husband bought these pants for me to go with my coat and he was so impressed with them, he bought some TNF ski pants too! I love the vents and the adjustable waist. I also love the feel of the fabric... soft and durable yet not stiff. They kept me warm and dry on the slopes and I get cold very easily.
