Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Style, not so nice zipper I love the style but the zipper is so cheap and it jams so much that I might be returning it. Was not expecting something like that for a brand like this one. I also think it is noisy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Coat This is my favorite winter coat ever! I got it in the end of spring 2016 and have used it two winters in a row so far! Every year I look forward to wearing it because it is just long enough to have good coverage but not so much where it makes me look like a hobbit, which is easy to do with parkas since I am 5'2". It is stylish and has a slim fit, but the inner insulation is flexible enough to allow layers. It is very warm in Iowa winters and waterproof which is a must. I love how the inside is insulated and the outside is flat so you don't look like a marshmallow. It also has really great roomy and convenient pockets!!! Im so glad they are still selling it because I will always want one in my life! 10/10!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love the coat but design flaw in zipper This was my first The North Face purchase. So very disappointed. Tbe coat is not warm so is not good for winter, maybe spring. I can't understand why this difficult zipper has not been addressed by North Face. It has a double zipper that is nearly impossible to zip and unzip. Returning it to retail store where I bought it and exchanging for a different brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket! I love this jacket! I had been searching high and low for an insulated rain jacket that would keep me warm during the winter in rainy washington. It is just what I was looking for! Super cute and stylish. You can dress it up or dress it down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect warm raincoat I just moved to Oregon and wanted: a waterproof parka that came down low enough to keep my thighs dry while walking, a design that was more stylish than sporty, and could keep me warm on chilly days (35-45 degrees). And I absolutely love this coat. It breathes well. The fit is great for a slim body. And I feel like a grown up, not a college student because of the style. The zipper is a bit sticky, but it's a very well constructed coat. And the material doesn't feel slick like a typical raincoat, much more like a winter coat. I do agree that the hood could be deeper for when it's raining hard, but it covers my face well enough since the hood is a bit stiff and it stays put and doesn't fly off in the wind. Overall, I couldn't be happier after my hours and hours of research.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Still haven't decided if i like it. It's a cute jacket. Maybe good in a city when you are in and out of cars or buildings. Not warm enough for winter on the Oregon Coast. If you like a looser fitting jacket, with room for a sweater then order a size larger than you usually do. The sleeves are not long enough for cold wet weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad It’s a nice lightly insulated waterproof coat. Has some feminine shape. The zipper is very difficult to engage and even sometimes to unzip. Plan to leave extra time to get dressed. It also pops open from the bottom unexpectedly. I wish it had snaps up the front to make it simple to close when you don’t want to zip it up.

Hi, Is the new taupe green what is shown in the video?

Asked by: Kristin
Thanks for the question! We are working on getting an image for the New Taupe Green color option. I grabbed one from our warehouse and would say it is darker than the color in the video. I would describe it as Camo Green or Olive Green. I hope this helps a little!

How warm is this jacket

Asked by: Pattie57
Hey there, Thanks for the question. The North Face doesn't provide temperature ratings for their products so we can't give an exact temperature that this would be warm to, however, the Ancha Parka is a shell parka designed for spring weather. It's primary function is to keep you dry, but it also contains some light insulation (100 g of Heatseeker™ synthetic insulation), so it works best on cooler spring days. It would not work as a stand-alone jacket in winter weather as it is not designed for extreme or winter temperatures. I hope this helps.
