Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps me warm considering it’s not that thick. Bought this jacket about a months ago i love it! Love the color and style. Ran a little small kinda snug but overall fits just fine. I would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, lightweight parka! Perfect for cold weather This parka is lightweight, easy to pack and looks amazing for the price range. The fur hood adds a great look. The length was perfect (I am 5'11")

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New fav jacket This is my first "winter coat" being that I live in Louisiana and it is rarely cold enough to bundle up. But I am so happy to have it for this cold winter! It is the perfect thickness for our rare low temps of 20-30 degrees. I am short so the small fit me well without layering too much underneath. So happy with it overall!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great selection I bought this coat for my daughter and she loves it. She always said she wanted a styled coat but also something that she use informally. Is her favorite winter coat and she wears it everywhere. The quality of the product is good and I see her passing the coat to her sisters woth konopositoknat all from them with no problems

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Flattering fit but kind of chintzy I ordered a size up, fit is flattering but restricts movement in arms. The zipper is very cheap, gets stuck every time I put it on. Overall it's "ok" but not worth $200.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Cold Weather I bought this coat for staying warm in Upstate NY's brutal winters. When I first got the coat, I was worried that it wouldn't be warm enough because it is very lightweight. However, it is very warm and blocks wind very well. The fur is detachable and the lining is fairly waterproof so I also wear it in cold rain. I wear it while walking to and from class (5-10 min walks) and it keeps me warm & insulated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the length and color! I bought this a few weeks ago i like it but it wasn't what i thought it was compared to what it looked like on the screen. It looked puffer than it looked up close but i would buying another for better warmth in below 0 degree weather

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I bought this as a gift for my mother because she needed a winter jacket. When the jacket arrived I was disappointed because it was so thin. Definitely not the warm winter jacket I was expecting.

Will this be warm enough for Iowa winters?

Asked by: Wtrenkamp21
Hi again! If temperatures get into the negatives, then I would actually consider a Down Parka - such as the Triple C II Parka or the Arctic Down Parka. Both have the same amount of insulation. If you are looking for longer coverage, than the Triple C II would be a great option. If you get a lot of snow and need water protection, then I would go with the Arctic Parka. I really like the faux fur-lined hood on the Arctic Parka because it helps to block wind. I included links below to both suggestions. From what I read about Iowa winters, it sounds like Down is what you need. I hope this helps! https://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Women-s-Triple-C-II-Parka_10317144_10208_10000001_-1_ https://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Women-s-Arctic-Down-Parka_10251471_10208_10000001_-1_

How warm is this jacket going to be?

Asked by: Wtrenkamp
Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, The North Face does not temperature rate their products. Jacket warmth really varies with each person's body temperature and also how many layers of clothing worn underneath. Since the Harway has 100g of Heatseeker (synthetic) insulation, it is going to be heavier & warmer and ideal for cold weather conditions. Synthetic insulation ranges from 40-120 grams. The heavier the weight, the warmer the insulation. Sorry for such a lengthy response. I hope this helps a little!

How do the sizes run? I'm a size 12-14 in clothing...36D in bust

Asked by: Nattie
Hiya Nattie, thanks for your question! I am between sizes in The North Face brand clothing but for outerwear, I usually size up. Size XL might be the best size for you. Here are the suggested measurements for that size: Bust - 42 - 44" Waist - 35 - 38" Hip - 41 - 43" See the size guide at the bottom of the product page for more size measurements and information, (There is a shortcut to the size guide under the drop down size menu. Just click on the "Size Guide" link.) Hope this helps!
