The North Face Women's Freedom LRBC Insulated Pant is an insulated ski pant for hitting the slopes from winter start to winter end. LRBC could literally stand for anything, but it probably stands for Low Rise Boot Cut. Made to fit just like your favorite pair of jeans, but with the power of waterproof/breathable protection and 60g of Heatseeker™ insulation. Built to keep you warm on cooler days, but not so much as to overheat, plus, the Chimney Venting™ system increases airflow on your hardest working days. All pockets close with either a zipper or Velcro® so you won't lose your personal items or hand warmers halfway down the mountain. Finished off with kickpatches at the cuffs for durability, you'll be set to tackle the mountain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants but I'm still to tall! I love North Face quality and that they offer a long inseam however my struggle is I seem to be in between sizes. I'm 6', 143 lbs, slim athletic build. The small is too small overall (waist & length) and the medium is too big - too wide in the waist & hip and I could still do with more length so the pants bunch up a bit on my boots rather than just sit on top (which means snow still gets in when it's deep). I'd love to see "cooler" (subjective) styling from them too - better front hand pockets, rear butt pockets and or maybe a cargo pocket. I will always keep checking to see if they do this and get a true long inseam happening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fitting snow pant I am 6 feet tall so it's hard to find long enough snow pants for women but I bought these with the long inseam and they are perfect. I love that they are light weight and not super bulky. The waist fits well, I had read another comment about the fit in your thighs is you carry more weight there and I agree, I got a large which fits my waist perfectly but it was tighter getting it over my hips but I was still able to put them on fine and they aren't too tight in the thighs once on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the color Garnet Purple! I was so happy I could order these pants in Long. They are the perfect length. I wish the Velcro strip was a little longer along the waist. The tabs get caught on the inside of my jacket and sometimes come undone so my pants are falling down while I ski. Perhaps I should have got one size smaller, but since I've worn them a few times now, I'll keep them and have them altered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy these again I bought these pants for a Family ski trip to Steamboat Springs, CO. They kept me nice and toasty throughout our many outdoor adventures. We went horseback riding in the mountains, snow tubing, skiing, and even went for a ride in a horse drawn sleigh. Needless to say, I was very glad I purchased these snow pants. They were durable, warm and comfy. Would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought these for my wife.... needless to say she's in love I bought these for my wife since I have north face gear myself. My reasoning was that I already knew the quality I would be getting with their products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Snowpants Just got these for snowboarding this season. I live in Southern California, so I keep the inside leg vents open except on the coldest days. Great fit. Waistband is high enough that everything stays covered when bending over to strap in. Short inseam is perfect length (I'm 5'4"). Really comfortable without looking baggy. Love them!

Hi, I have a TNF triclimate jacket that is black, white, pink & gray from a few years ago. Is the "coastal gray" a "true" gray like my coat, or is it kind of a purplish gray like it looks on my monitor?

Asked by: Amy14
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! While the "coastal gray" may not be as "coastal" as "TNF" wants, it's "grayness" is definitely "influenced" by the "lilac-osity" of it's "hue". In other words, yes, it's going to be a purplish gray. Hope this helped you out!

I work in a fish market in the northeast all winter with no heat on the ocean. I need the warmest pant possible. it's freezing. is the north face insulated pant extremmely warm? or just moderately warm?

Asked by: kimm
Hey there, Unfortunately The North Face does not provide a temperature rating for these pants. You should be warm in these pants in most winter conditions, but if you are going to wear them in freezing weather I would suggest looking for a warmer pant or layering underneath these.
