Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much room! Not sure why BB seem to think TNF would not cover the broken poles from warranty. I sent out my last tent to be repaired and received a gift card for the same amount I paid to buy a new one. If the warranty department is not able to fix your item, they replace it at no cast. Hence the term "LIFETIME WARRANTY". If you have any trouble with your item, just bring it in to the closest TNF location or mail it directly to the warranty department. It is a small group of people that work tirelessly to fix items. Please do not let that negative and incorrect review about warranty scare you away. I have this tent and it has done great on 4 separate trips. One being at the beach during heavy winds, and we did not have one pole come loose the entire time. Plenty of room for the family to sprawl out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wawona tent I bought this tent recently, and used it twice in below freezing temps at Bryce canyon, and South Rim at the Grand Canyon Slept comfortable, and we didn't freeze. It has many compartments for storage, love that it has 2 door openings at the vestibule, and we used the vestibule for extra storage. It has another vestibule at the other side of the tent. Great tent

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent 6 person tent we bought the tent after a wide reserch of the tents for 6 person at our first night in the white mountains we had a pouring rain for half of the night. the tent withstood the storm with no problem!! the tent is very roomy and very comfortable. there is enough space for all and more. the assembly is easy - after you practice 2-3 times its very easy. it has a great porch. it is truly an excellent tent!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this to anyone Love this tent! Was in severe weather recently with it. 4" of rain, 60mph winds, tornado watch. It held up beautifully and then some. I used almost if of the tie downs to secure it and it barely moved in the high winds. Great tent! Roomy , comfortable and plenty of very useful built in accessory pockets and a clothesline.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Tent Just got this tent, used it once in Sequoia last weekend. Loved it, easy to set up, durable construction. I'm 6'4" and can stand in the center portion of it. And I really like the vestibule, only complaint is that the fly's/ bugs get trapped inside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tent is great, customer service is even better Bought this tent, as I have been using a Northface backpacking tent for 12 years and have never had an issue and needed a large family tent for car camping. The tent is easy and quick to set up, even when alone and entertaining a 3 and 5 year old! When setting up the tent in about 40'ish degree (celsius...104 fahrenheit), the large support pole snapped at the sleeve (high stress point where the tent pole is angled). I have little doubt that a combination of the high heat, direct sunlight and action of erecting the tent (my fault) were to blame, and upon contacting customer support, they graciously overnighted a replacement pole to me while I was on the road. I cannot be happier with the Northfaces customer support, they saved a long planned and much looked forward to camping adventure for me and my two young children. We were 4 days into a 12 day camping excursion and it would have been heart breaking to turn around. The customer support member bent over backwards to help, including making arrangements for the replacement post to be delivered to a specific store location to ensure our trip wasn't disrupted. As for the tent, I couldn't be happier. We camped in multiple environments, including desert, high alpine (wind, rain and heat) and waterside, it held it's own and even without a fly was waterproof and able to regulate the temperature inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy family tent Four of us fit comfortably in this tent with very little room to spare, though two of us (me and the toddler) have rather large sleeping pads. Super easy set up and teardown. Only complaint, with a tent this big it is impossible to turn it upside down and just shake the dirt out of it. No rain on our first trip, so didn't get to test the waterproofness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The facts about this tent This tent seems to embody the smaller design of tents out there, be using a simple pole system that is easily marked. It is extremely difficult to set up with one person, but two can build it quickly (in about 10 minutes). I suggest getting the footprint on this one. The storage duffle bag could have been a tad larger, as the tent (when rolled up even by me a few times) still did not quite fit with the poles and my upgraded tent stakes. This tent is heavy and the tent stakes provided are very heavy. I suggest buying an aluminum stake to hold down this tent. Lastly, I have to harp on the vestibule section in the front of this tent. Though it did offer a nice option to hide from the elements, as well as give us great access to our tent, it allowed for insects (mostly flies) to become trapped inside the vestibule. At one point, I jokingly told my wife that it looked like someone had died in there, and this was about 1 hour after setting it up. I suggest trying to get the vestibule walls to touch the ground, but extremely difficult as the tent doesn't really allow for this. Overall, this tent was awesome. Can't wait to use it again.
