Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice gloves for cold weather outdoor sports I bought these for snowmobiling. Needed warmth, tall cuffs to prevent airflow and snowplow inside the gloves. Wrist straps are a nice plus to avoid dropping them on the trail when stopped. Layers are nice as they provide warmth without bulk hindering mobility. Over long exposure to snow they do tend to absorb some moisture. Previous pair had surface cracks over time which was disappointing but to be fair they were exposed to gas and other machinery chemicals on the trail so I wouldn't say that was a flaw of the product but rather an application issue AND these gloves out performed others in all areas so well worth it overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent resort ski glove I bought these for my son who's complained of frozen fingers the past few ski seasons. These were a big step up in performance over the fairly cheap Dakine gloves he had been wearing. Very warm with pretty good dexterity. I love the Hestra-style wrist cuffs and the included liners. These kept his hands toasty & dry (without the liners) while skiing laps during an afternoon blizzard at Wolf Creek. At full retail, I think they're a decent glove, but they're a screamin' good deal when you find them for 30% off like I did. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Christmas shopping will be easy next year. We went snowmobiling in northern Wisconsin in 17 degree below zero temps. Guess who had the warmest hands? Thanks North Face! I know the wrist straps are designed for skiing/snowboarding but they kept them from being stolen from me by jealous companions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Glove - Sublime esignD I sincerely appreciate good design - these gloves are sublime. Nearly perfect in every way. I recently went skiing in the Canadian Rockies where temperatures were down to -17°F (-27°C) on the slopes. I NEVER felt any coldness in my hands and I didn't use hand-warmers. I love everything about this glove. The liners are great. (However, they have developed some "fuzz" from brushing the velco on my jacket. Does not affect performance.) The lanyards are fantastic. I hate seeing that single, lonesome glove in the snow, as you ride the chairlift to the top. No worries with the keeper attached to your wrist! Allowed me to pull the gloves off with confidence. Also, for the size of these gloves, the comfort and articulation was fantastic. I have other gloves where you know that you are wearing them. These are designed to reduce bulk and make it easy to grip. It's hard to find anything wrong with these gloves, but if there was one feature that I would like to add, it would be soft/fleece patch so that you could wipe your nose. Gross, I know! "Use a handkerchief!" But, some times you gotta wipe that drip. It is not a deal breaker, but the only thing that I would add. The versatility of the "TriClime" allows you to use these in a variety of conditions (with or without liners, or liners only). It is quite possible that this would be the only glove(s) that you would need for every condition: Fall, Winter, and Spring. I have not used them in the rain. So, I cannot comment on the waterproofness. Sad story, these gloves were "misappropriated" from the lodge. Left them on a table in a cafeteria, walked away, and they were gone. I will be buying another pair because I cannot find a better glove.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Exciting, but disappointing Like the fact that they have the wristbands to keep the gloves on you when you take them off. Within the first two uses of the gloves, the inner liner ripped away from the glove. This makes it extremely difficult to put the glove on and becomes frustrating with every use. Furthermore, the gloves aren't as warm as I had expected. I used night skiing in the Northeast in 10-15 degree weather, and my fingers were numb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good gloves. I use these for riding in very cold conditions, and they are excellent. They keep my hands very warm, much better than more expensive gloves I have tried previously.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good gloves for the price. Keeps hands warm down to 10F while skiing. Leash is odd though but once you get accustom to it is more comfortable than others I've had. Can't wear a watch with lease on. Gloves run small for me as I am usually a Medium. But large liner seems big. Liners are too slick to hold a phone. Good glove for the money. Would love it if the entire liner zipped out to dry during lunch break between all day skiing. I'd compare this to a Swany but with a little less comfort on the fit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Warm - Needs quality glove liner Pro - Used this product for three days of casual skiing out west in close to zero degree weather. Hands/fingers stayed very warm. Con - The glove liner's stitching becomes frayed really fast at the finger tips. Not sure how long they will hold up long-term and looks like they will eventually split apart. I would pay the extra money to buy these items as separates to ensure quality. Montana+liner. Only concern there is that they would be too tight, and I already wear an XL.
