The North Face Triarch 3 Tent is a lightweight backpacking tent for sleeping three in the backcountry. Or throw in two people and a dog. Or just two people for plenty of space. Whichever combination is right for your backcountry adventure, this tent does its best to maximize the internal space, more room for your elbows, feet and sitting up straight. The dual doors make it simple for quick entry and exit and when using the fly, the two vestibules create extra space for storing gear away from the rain. Included with the package is a footprint and gear loft, so you won't have to add any extras. Except for that one thing you can't live without.

Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not the best of TNF Not the worst... This tent is pretty good. But It starts have some problems over time if you want to be the party tent guy don't use this tent. It is a little to light for me but this is the tent if you are counting ounces it is very light for its size if you are looking for a great light tent than this is it but be careful because it is not the sturdiest tent. But all in all its worth every dime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from User Friendly This tent was easy to set up, lightweight and has great head and leg room. This tent feels very breathable with all the mesh. I will be using it as one of my means to prevent being bitten by mosquitos and noseeum at dawn and dusk by the beach in Puerto Escondido, Mexico hoping to avoid Zika and Malaria. At first, the tent seems pricy but when you judge it verse using my health insurance deductable and the cost of travel and hotels it's very reasonable. I plan on sleeping well at night! Dual entry is also a nice feature: Each side has an entry making it so you do not have to climb over someone in the middle of the night to relieve yourself. Great feature. One thing that would make it even quicker to set up would be to color code one of the pole ends red to go into the red corner hole (red to red) so you know where to start.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good all round tent I use this tent in alpine areas throughout New Zealand. It is very quick to set up which is a bonus in adverse weather conditions. The idea of a foot print and storage places inside the tent are great and it is a good all round tent

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Tent Used the tent to camp whilst travelling around Maui, all campsites were along the coast so felt the brunt of all types of weather including some very strong winds. With held the winds very well, so much so it was warm inside. Dried very quickly in the sun once rain had passed through also. Looking forward to camping with this tent more..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tent Got this tent to replace my Kings Canyon 3 which was a terrible tent. This tent addresses all the flaws of the Kings Canyon series. Easier to set up, better construction and stitching, and the included footprint is something that should be standard with every tent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST TENT EVER ! This is by far the best tent I have ever used. I have used the TNF tadpole 25 it is not near as good as this tent. Although this tent is strong I would recommend being carful with it. Here is a nitpicky problem with it, the rain fly does not come down low enough. It may be expensive but it is definitely worth it for the money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Eh The sidewalls under the doors sag when they are open. the walls near head and feet aren't protected by the fly so condensation in the morning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight, impressive interior, great gear storage I bought a TNF Peregrine tent around 13 years ago. In my humble opinion, that design (along with TNF Manta Ray) was the best tent I ever owned. I hoped TNF would have an updated version of that design, but they discontinued it. So, what to do? I was a touch skeptical, but I went with the Triarch 3, and I'm extremely happy with that decision. PROS, all "when compared to a TNF Peregrine tent": 1) Brilliant design - vertical walls, so the tent fell very roomy. 2) Lightweight, hi-tech materials - the whole tent, with footprint, is just over 5 lbs. Also, it compresses to small space. Definitely lighter than my Peregrine. 3) Gear storage - an overhead, built-in gear loft and 3 pockets on each end. Several fabric hooks for hanging whatever. 4) Fly designed to to protect the tent, but with minimal, lightweight design. (Has built in vents, no windows - my Peregrine fly had plastic windows that disintegrated after 12 years). 5) Included footprint. There are no real cons, but here are some nitpicky cons, all "when compared to a TNF Peregrine tent": 1) Not-as-easy to set up. Three of the poles are connected with pivots, which makes assembling the poles a bit unwieldy. I would prefer the poles weren't connected, and the longer vs. shorter poles were color coordinated (the Peregrine poles were color coordinated to match the pole pockets, which made for easy setting up the tent a night). 2) The advertised "little more privacy" from the different mesh colors doesn't matter - I understand that minimizing weight means more mesh, but this tent has no privacy without the fly. 3) The included footprint doesn't seem to fit the floor of the tent - it's just a bit off, and the pole pocket holes easily slip off the pole pegs. Final analysis - I recommend this tent. The interior space, the light weight, the gear storage, and the high-quality materials make this definitely worth buying. I expect to get another 13 years out of this tent.
