The North Face Triarch 2 Tent is a backcountry tent capable of sleeping two hikers. Or offering loads of room for one person. Perhaps you and a furry, four-legged pal? Regardless of how you slice it, the tent itself includes a gear loft and footprint, so you don't have to worry about an additional cost to get started on the trail. Dual doors make entries and exits quick and simple when with a partner and there is plenty of interior head room for sitting up to play a game of cards or rustle around in your stuff sack for a clean t-shirt. The rainfly provides two vestibules, keeping you and your gear dry as you sleep through the storm. Conveniently placed mesh plus color blocking provides a little more privacy when using the tent without the fly, so don't be afraid to go without the fly on hot, sticky nights in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 7 days in Maine. My initial inspection drew attention to the plastic pole clips possibility of failure, otherwise it all looked good in my basement for pre trip examination. Day one in Maine we were able to set up camp in between rain showers. I crawled in my tent at dusk just before the storm hit. Throughout the night heavy rain pellted my tent. Yet not one drop made it thru the silny construction. 6 more nights on the northern Allagash where rain showers rule and my tent was bone dry every night. Even when I stowed it with a wet fly from the rain it would dry in no time later when it was set up. Another great product from THE North Face.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick, Easy, and Durable This tent was as as easy to put together as it is to open a can of spaghetti O's with an electric can opener. I had it up and functional within 2 minutes, the first time out of the sack. I took it out on a quick weekend trip and it was spacious enough for myself and friend and all of our gear. The fly provide exterior room that we did not use for the weekend trip. We didn't encounter and wind or rain, but based on the durability of the fly, I don't think it will be an issue. i strongly recommend this tent to anyone, whether you are a car camper or in the thick of it. Extremely light weight and can be set up with your eyes clothes. hit the trail runnin!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So very dissapointed with this tent , and TheNorthFace brand The poles snapped the third time I put the tent up . Its super roomy , pretty light , and it looks great . But apparently the quality of material is garbage . North Face provided 0 compensation for the time, money and inconvenience I had . I thought I was getting a great tent from a great company . I couldnt have been more wrong. The Customer Service team over there has to be the worst I've encountered . The manager from the warranty department is a complete waste of space and was no help at all , Steven was his name . I work with a CFI crew cutting new trails , and setting in steps to summits . I absolutely recommend you to buy any other brand .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny I've shopped for tents all winter wondering which of the 16 choices to pick, HAPPY to say I got this triarch 2, the hubba hubba was a close contender but the triarch won me over based on the fact that It came with a ground sheet and has built in loft and storage pockets, I think the inside is much more roomy than the MSR also. This is absolutly the most internal space your going to find in a sub 4 pound tent. It is easy to set up too. One thing I noticed was there is not a buckle clip to attach the fly to the tent body easy like other tents, you need to use the pole grommet, the possible plus side to this (though I haven't tried) is that you could set the rainfly up in rain first then pitch the tent from inside. beware that with the ground sheet, stuff sacks and stakes this package weighs 4 1/2 lb., with out these its weight is as listed. I've found this true of all other brands also. Most list just weight for fly, body, poles. (called trail weight) I think this tent is awesome and is the best, definatly the roomiest, lightweight 2 person tent you will find.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trip on the JMT I used it on the JMT and it worked perfectly. This is not a lot roomy for two person, but with all the gear loft and pockets, it's not that bad. We were able to store our 60 L packs in each vestibule without any trouble. It take like 2 minutes to pitch which is awesome. This tent is light enough for one person even with the foot print. You would probably have too much room for only one person, but who is going to complain about that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tent! This was my first tent purchase and first time to set up a tent. This tent is roomy. I was able to fit a helinox cot lite, with a thermarest pad and also have enough space to fit my pack on one end and the dog's bed at the other with plenty of entry and exit space on one side. I took this tent on a week long car camping trip, visiting various state parks and recreation areas in Arkansas. It is extremely easy to set up, takes about 5 minutes. The tent is very well constructed, very breathable, even with the rainfly, but also keeps the wind out. Two of the 6 nights had considerable downpours and I have to admit I was skeptical that I would stay dry, but dry I stayed, not a drop of moisture in the tent! It was even dry under the footprint when I went to pack up while the rest of the ground was soaked. I like the storage space with the two gear lofts and the extra mesh pockets on either end of the tent. It also has attachment points for a small lantern. Two things somewhat annoying though...there is really no privacy without the rainfly and the zipper seems to stick at times on the rainfly, other than that it is a really good tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Many cool features. Bought it and went hiking (in the rain) without ever setting it up. Without reading the instructions, it went up very easily. Like the twin vestibules, one on each side door. Oh, most importantly: it looks way cool.
