Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid boots - but a little tight These boots are awesome and I picked them up for a great price on Black Friday. I ordered a half size over what I normally wear expecting to need extra room for thick socks. However, when I received the boots I still found them very tight around my foot. Especially in the left one (weird) The overall length was good though. My toes have lots of room. It's just the middle of the foot that is being squeezed. So I'm like, "I'll return them for another pair". But alas, they were all sold out when I went back to return them on the site, so I've decided to keep them after all. I'm hoping they just need a good break-in period and they will fit better after some use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Winter Boots I purchased these boots for the winter to shovel the driveway play with the kids outside and for commuting during the winter. They have not been put to the test quite yet of course but I was shocked to put them on and see how light they are! Fantastic that will be great for being outside in the deeper snow. Great look as well, a little bit of style to these snow boots so technically you could wear them out casually running around during the day and since they are lightweight it makes sense. They seem to be very warm and waterproof so looking forward to putting them to the test this NE winter!

how much insulation(grams) what temp are they rated for?

Asked by: walt
Hiya Walt, thanks for your question! The North Face does not provide that information (grams of insulation) for this boot but they say that Thermoball has the warmth equivalent to 600 fill goose down. This boot should keep your feet warm, as long as you are wearing appropriate socks, like synthetic or Merino wool socks (not cotton). Keep in mind that temperature rating depends on if your feet run hot or cold and your activity level. Hope this helps!

Width???   I have EEE wide feet and a high arch.   is your boot going to work for me?

Asked by: Gary K
Hiya Gary, thanks for your question! Word on the street is that this boot runs narrow so I would not recommend it for a EEE wide foot. Unfortunately, the North Face doesn't have any wide width options. Sorry about that!
