Rated 5 out of 5 by from This jacket is awesome! This was a gift for my son... he's worn it almost everyday since Christmas.... Good when its just cool outside or as an extra layer under his coat if it is colder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great material and light weight I bought it for enduring winters while my trip to India. Seems to be a good decision. Somewhat trendy and good for not-so-extreme winters

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Jacket was definitely worth buying again I bought this Jacket for myself, and couldn't be more happier with my decision. The weight of the jacket is evenly distributed as far as I can tell to my fitting, and has like a real soft cotton finished leather feel to the inside and the hoof. I myself would buy it again if I ever lost mine. I recommend this to everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not perfect Looked far and wide for the perfect high quality, durable, warm, and weatherproof hoodie to wear coaching soccer and I nearly found it in the Kilowatt ops. Coaching soccer requires functional movement during active drills as well as something warm/weatherproof for sidelines during inclement weather. The Ops meets much of the requirements but falls short in a few areas. Good Stuff: Weather proof hood is great Wind-proof material is a Big Plus Weatherproof core and DWR fabric is Excellent and Big advantage over other hoodies out there Fold out mittens with thumb holes a nice touch Stylish / looks great Cons: -It's Not warm. The material is paper-thin. For not much additional cost the designers at TNF could easily have added some extra material on the inside core to add warmth without much weight or bulk. The jacket not being warm easily dings it 1 or 2 stars - especially for the cost. You either have to wear a very warm base layer under the hoodie or wear the hoodie under a shell. Since I do own the Apex Bionic by TNF this does fit well under it. -Tight arms. I don't know what they were thinking but my arms are normal size and the jacket is Way too tight on the arms, almost to the point of restricting movement even with a short sleeve underneath (I almost returned it for this reason but decided the pros were enough to keep it). -There are some other poor design choices. For example there are several pockets (pro) but all the pocket liners are mesh (con). Essentially if you open up a pocket on a cold say you let all the cold air into the pocket and through the mesh to you which is just dumb. Sure the upper pockets and arm pocket could be for ventilation but certainly the hand pockets should have a solid vs. mesh liner. All and all the jacket has some advantages and it looks great and fits well under my Apex Bionic so I'm holding on to it but do hope they make some of the updates I mentioned.
