Rated 3 out of 5 by from Honestly, Not What I Expected from North Face I haven't owned a TNF jacket in years, decided to try this one because of the style. I'm 6'0 210 in very athletic shape, wear a size large in most shirts and 34-35 waist. I was looking for a more tailored/ slim cut jacket and I thought that this would satsify that; well I was very wrong. Arms are oversized, long, and still bulky for a "ski" jacket. But that's not what blew it for me. When this jacket is fully zipped, the neck comes above my chin; I have a beard so this was extra annoying, but even without it why would I want my jacket to be all in my face?? I was not impressed with the hood of this jacket either. Really just overall disappointed, fit was great, felt more like an XL than the Large I ordered. I gladly returned this jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice coat, but next to no insulation I was looking for a replacement winter coat for Mid-West winters, and frustrated that there is no good way to tell how warm a coat really is without trying it on and standing outside. This one is more of a shell than a winter coat on its own. The insulation in the sleeves stops before the elbow, and is rather thin through the rest of the coat. The style and fit were great, just not warm enough for what I need. I ended up going with the North Face Apex Storm Peak coat and am very pleased with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and toasty I bought this as a Christmas present for my son. He really likes this coat. He is 5'11" 205lb and the large fits perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal insulated shell with great fit! Great jacket for all ski days, I wear it on sunny warm days with a non-insulated base and on cold days with an insulated base. On a really cold day with blizzard conditions, a thermoball vest was more than enough for mid-layer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Jacket...Especially For the Money!! While NOT a very technical jacket, the Hickory Pass is a great jacket for urban winters, especially in the Northeast!! Fits a little smaller so order a size up if possible. I've got a few North face jackets and this one is every bit as good as the more expensive and technical shells and insulation pieces I have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right. Perfect Coat. Just enough insulation so its not too heavy but still keeps you warm. I found the vents helpful if you get hot when hiking, and also enjoyed all the storage options. 2 standard flap-style pkts and one sideways zip pkt. Im 5'9 160 lbs and a medium is just right for the slopes.

Is there reflective material to reflect headlights of cars etc.?

Asked by: aremkay
Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, the Hickory Pass Jacket does not offer any reflective benefits. I would take a look at the Winter Better Than Naked Jacket or the Isotherm Jacket. I included links below for you to check them out. Hope this helps! http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Men-s-Winter-Better-Than-Naked-Jacket_10315620_10208_10000001_-1_ http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Men-s-Isotherm-Jacket_10315418_10208_10000001_-1_
