Who doesn’t like to have options? Answer me. Ok fine. For those of you who love options, The North Face Men's Clement Triclimate Jacket is the jacket for you. This 3-in1 ski jacket has an impenetrable outer shell, offering protection from the worst weather mother-nature can muster and ski/snowboard specific features like a dedicated goggle pocket with cloth and powder skirt. When you really get moving, underarm vents provide an easy escape for excess heat. To protect from plummeting temps, the inner jacket can be zipped into the shell for extra warmth and being insulated with synthetic Heatseeker™ means it keeps its insulating power even when damp. In the name of versatility, the inner jacket can be zipped into the shell for extra warmth or can be worn as a standalone during dry, cool conditions. Like I said, you’ll have options and options are good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made Seems well made. I usually order large in things. The sleeves and chest were great in both of these for fit...the abdomen, not so much. I don't have that big of a stomach, but even sucking in as far as I could, I can't imagine wearing much else other than a tshirt under this without feeling really constricted. Sending it back for one of the more relaxed fit jackets. Overall, it seemed to be well made though...if it fit, it would have been almost perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from To tight in the midsection I have had a several North Face Jackets for the past 20 years. They have always been the Mountain light. This year I needed a new jacket and really liked the look of the Clement. Good color choices and most of all, lots of pockets and features. The feel of the material inside and out is great. It is the perfect coat with one notable exception, the mid section is way too tight. Like another reviewer, I don't have a big stomach, but it is very tight, and only tight in the mid-section. The sleeve length is a little long, but I can deal with that by tightening the velcro cuffs. I wish there was a similar coat with the same features as this with the fit of the Mountain Light. .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Different fit I found the same as the first review. I have a number of Northface medium jackets that all fit comfortably loose. This one is so narrow I can hardly wear a tee shirt under. Also, the sleeves are much longer than any others I have. I was a bit disappointed in the craftsmanship as well. I had some stitching with loops hanging out as well as some white insulation puffs coming out of the seam. I hope this is not a new direction for Northface

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Weeks of research led me to discover this jacket! Upon removing the shell, I discovered that the liner was installed in reverse. The logo and pockets are inside and the tags on the outside. In order to wear liner properly, you need to turn it right side in. I feel that this design defeats the purpose of a 3 in 1. Who would want to remove both jacket and liner, only to reverse liner to put it back on-especially in cold weather
