Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall a great boot I wore these hunting in a tree stand and they are comfortable, however my toes were cold on the sole side. The temperature was single digit to teens and my toes got cold within 1 hour. Might have been the socks I was wearing but I thought these would Keep my feet warm alone and the did not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm & Comfy I purchased this boot a month ago. It has excellent traction. It's primary purpose is for use in snowy, icy and extreme cold weather conditions. I live and work in the mountains. It is great in the snow. There is no perfect boot for icy conditions but this boot is well above average in that respect. In extreme cold (10 degrees and less), this boot keeps my feet warm for several hours. After that, i experience some cold in my toes. The rest of the foot remains toasty. I give this boot a 4.5 instead of 5 because the lacing system is somewhat cumbersome and difficult to tighten. It is a rather bulky but very comfortable fit. also, make sure to order a full size larger than your actual shoes size. i wear a 12 shoe but needed a 13 in this boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Order 2 sizes bigger! As all the other reviews state, I am a size 11.5 US men's shoe, but had to buy size 13 in these for them to fit nicely due to the high amount of padding in the boots. I wore them outside for over 8 hours in a cold New England winter day and never had cold feet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good overall winter Boot First off you have to get the sizing right. I usually wear between 9.5 and 10 so i ordered a 10.5 based on reviews. When i first put these on they were really snug. Almost felt too tight. I did as others had recommended and wore them around the house for a couple of days and they really started to loosen up. While they still feel snug, I can now push my heel back into the boot which I could not before. I think once I completely break them in they will be a pretty good fit. These boots feel pretty warm, have only been able to do limited testing here because of unseasonably warm weather. My only complaint would be that walking in them feels a bit clunky, but that's an attribute of most boots. The ankles seem to rub quite a bit on my shins, but it may be that I need to tighten up the laces on the boot. For the price and overall quality these are hard to beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product but runs small I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas in a size 12. He normally wears a size 11.5-12. We ended up returning them for a size 13 and he's very happy with them. Very warm and comfortable. Great boot for the cold!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for mountain everyday living I bought these for my husband to use through the winter months in the mountains while he plows the driveway, walks the dogs, etc. According to him, they fit perfectly to size and are SUPER warm, pretty good grip for the icy ground.

Are these boots light . how much they height?

Asked by: pass
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! You bring up two excellent questions. First off, these are very light. Shoe weight is only 25 ounces! And, secondly, for the height, I pulled up a size 10 and it's standing, at it's tallest, 8 7/8 inches. Hope this helped you out!

Are these warmer than the Chilkat Tech boots?

Asked by: James48
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! Of the two, TNF Chilkat II Boot has more insulation, Dri-Lex® fleece and Heatseeker, which traps hot air for reduced heat loss and increased warmth, making it an ideal boot in winter conditions and snow sports of up to -25°F (-32°C). They're also waterproof, but only the Chilkat Tech has Gortex.
