The only thing constant is change. At least that’s what Heraclitus said, a name that I swear belonged to an actual human person. In any case, The North Face Men's Canyonlands Triclimate Jacket is here to help you deal with life and all its changes. This 3-in-1 jacket has an insulated, waterproof and windproof shell that can repel most anything mother-nature throws at you and since it’s made from TNF Dryvent™ fabric, it maintains breathability. The inner jacket is made from a midweight fleece that can be zipped into the shell to provide extra warmth for those brutal winter days. Pit zips on the shell help to vent built up heat if you’re on the move and an added media pocket makes this a great jacket for cruising down the slopes or just ignoring people on your walk into work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warmest jacket my husband has ever owned! It has been between -3 and -16 the past week in Minnesota and my husband has worn this jacket while snow blowing the driveway and has not complained once about being cold! He came in today and declared this is the warmes jacket he has ever owned! This comment is from a guy who grew up in Maine too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from review of canyonlands triclimate jacket worn this jacket everyday since getting it. Sized just a bit smaller than expected. Other reviews about the sleeves are very accurate. Very hard to remove sleeves due to fleece lining. Kind of disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Jacket This jacket is very versatile. Can also be layered a bit. Keeps me warm, and also holds back wind. Sizing also fits well. I initially bought a large, but being 6 feet tall. I had to exchange for a medium. Overall a great jacket to have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great in freezing temperatures. Bought this for my husband for our trip to Canada, it fit him perfectly and worked better than expected. It held up in freezing temperatures in the wild and also worked great in the city.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat, great price I bought a large for my boyfriend. I fits him perfect. He does have longer arms. This coat is very soft on the outside as well as the inside. He says its very warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great jacket for varying climates Second one of these jackets we've bought-one woman's and one man's. Both are great jackets, durable and fit nicely, and great price as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First North Face Product This is my first NF product and I am definitely hooked! I love the quality of the material and how comfortable it is. I am between a medium and a large. The large that I brought is a bit too big for me. Nevertheless I still love this jacket and I wear it everywhere including the rain!

I purchased the Thermoball Triclimate 3 in 1.  Was unimpressed with the durability of the shell.  Does this jacket have a heavier and more durable shell?

Asked by: Bomber404
Hiya Bomber404, thanks for your question! Yes, this jacket should be more durable than the Thermoball. The shell is made with a heavier and thicker nylon. Hope this helps!

To what temperature would this jacket keep me warm?

Asked by: dmpeterson33
Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, The North Face does not temperature rate their garments. The Canyonlands Triclimate is waterproof and insulated, however the inner jacket is just a mid-weight fleece. If you want to be warm in those Chicago winters, then I would consider a Triclimate that has either synthetic or actual goose-down. My suggestions are below. Hope this helps! http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Men-s-Thermoball-Triclimate-Jacket_10317124_10208_10000001_-1_ http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_The-North-Face-Men-s-Hauser-Triclimate-Jacket_10317025_10208_10000001_-1_
