Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty close - but not quite... I love the color and build of the jacket. But they missed a few things... First, the jacket I bought (a small) is pretty large for a small in length of the sleeves and the overall length of the jacket (front zipper length). Second, the jacket in the pictures has red pulls on all the zippers. The jacket that I was shipped had dark grey tabs. Seems like a small thing but if you buy a jacket based on what you see in the pictures, you should get EXACTLY what you see. I've been kind of disappointed by my last few North Face purchases for just this reason. Things like quality, sizing and detail seem to be slipping from their pinnacle a few years ago.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a sweater! Great indoor extra layer for those cold days. Not real heavy but a good amount of added warmth for cold days. It's a sport cut so its a little more snug in the shoulders, but not bad. I'm 6'4'' and 190 lbs and a large fits pretty well. sleeves are a great length and it's the right amount of material around the middle, could maybe be an inch longer, but not a big deal overall. I enjoy wearing this as a layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this sweater My wife bought me this sweater for an upcoming trip to Iceland. I'm confident it will hold up very nicely. It's very warm for how light it is, breathes nicely, and stretches for added movement when on hikes. I really like the look and feel of this sweater and will probably end up picking it up in other colors too. My only complaint, is its a darker hunter green than the advertised scallion green. But hands down a great sweater for hikes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lightweight 'Active Fit' Jacket I bought this about a month ago because I needed a lightweight fleece jacket for everyday use out around town and at work in a very casual office environment. I got this in black (size small) and it fit the bill perfectly. I'm 5'-10" and 145lbs with an athletic and slim build, and the small is very form fitting and snug (not in a bad way), but that's what I wanted. Sleeve length, shoulder width, jacket length and chest all fit great. I usually wear it with an undershirt and a short sleeved polo so I can peel it off if I get too warm. This jacket is certainly not an outer layer, and you won't want to wear much under it unless you size up. The forearms are also pretty snug (I can't pull the sleeves up to my elbow) so if you have big arms, keep this in mind. The zipper pockets all work like you would want them to, and the chest pocket doesn't add bulk - you basically forget it's there. I also like that this is a hardface style fleece so the outside is smooth (almost with a sheen) and doesn't attract fuzz, fur, etc. like a regular fleece jacket. Highly recommend this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Great Jacket I needed another thin North Face jacket; one that I could wear out or to work. It's perfect for both! I wear it indoors if it's a little cold, and obviously outside as well. I like that it's thin and lightweight, but is quite warm. It's formfitting, so that's a plus in my book (don't like the baggy look). The material is strong, and the stitching looks like two mules could pull on it without the jacket ripping. Very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Style and comfort LOve it, I was looking to replace the older model I had for 6 years, but it is not available any longer, this is very similar, it is warm as a jacket (not too warm) and light enough to keep it on as I work (desk work), Sorry the logo was not available in white. I buy guys sizes as I prefer they cover a little more hip. so I end up with a little longer sleeves, but nothing unmanageable

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what i was looking for I have been wearing a North Face fleece forever, that I absolutely loved, but it was time to part way with my worn fleece. I wanted a dual purpose light jacket w/ the warmth of my fleece and also the sporty feel where I could wear something business casual, and this fit the bill. The jacket is warm, breathable, and stylish. I am about 5'9, 180lbs, lean with broad shoulders and chest, so I had to get an XL which gave me more room than the Large. For someone with an athletic build but not broad shoulders, back or chest, large is perfect.
