Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Jacket - Storm Peak Triclimate Long story but I lost my North Face jacket that I loved so much after 4 years and when I found out that I couldn't purchase the same one because it was discontinued I was very disappointed. I went to the closest North Face store and I was no longer disappointed ! I treated myself to a men's Storm Peak Triclimate jacket that separates into a several pieces for different weather conditions. It's has a removalable hood, a zip out jacket liner and it is water resistant and windproof. Needless to say I am extremely happy with my new jacket and I I recommend it to anyone that's in the market for a new jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Men's Storm Peak Triclimate Jacket is Great! My son's birthday was coming up and I wanted to buy him something special. He told me that he needed a jacket and wanted a NorthFace. Searching together online, he picked the Storm Peak Triclimate jacket. When it arrived, he tried it on right away. The fit was spectacular and complimented both his height and weight. The jacket provided him with solid comfort, and has kept him warm through extended time in frigid temperatures. The lovely feature of this jacket is that it may be worn in any of three ways depending upon the level of insulation needed so it can accommodate any type of weather. I highly recommend this jacket because of his extreme satisfaction and its versatility.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy But Liner Is A Problem I use this jacket as my main winter jacket. I love the styling and the warmth. The sleeves are uncomfortable and cumbersome as the liner is not designed to remain in the jacket as you put it on and take it off. The snaps pop routinely as you slide your arms out. I have managed by rolling the liner back over the cuff of the exterior shell. The velcro sleeve fasteners are likely to fail as the jacket ages. North Face uses this design on other jackets and I think they should eliminate velcro on the sleeve fasteners throughout their product line. They will replace the velcro if you send the jacket back (inconvenient) and with original packaging (like anybody keeps that).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from STORM PEAK TRICLIMATE? JACKET Great jacket with a few minor problems: Wore this one back home in Missouri and no matter the wind or the temperature it kept me warm and dry. I love all the zippered pockets but I would have preferred they be lined with something so as to make things easier to remove without turning the pocket inside out. Along those same lines, when wearing the jacket with a wool or heavy shirt the liner sleeves tend to not want to say in the jacket. So far I have only snapped the button the holds the sleeve into the shell but I can see a time when the catch for the liner just tears away. My final comment is really a personal issue and not a complaint which is I am not a big fan of the color and would have preferred more options in that area.

is this jacket good for 20-30 degree weather?

Asked by: Joel
Hiya Joel, thanks for your question! We do not temperature rate our jackets as each person tolerates temperatures differently. That said, this is an excellent choice for winter temperatures and conditions. Hope this helps!
