The North Face Men's Anden Triclimate Jacket is a 3-in-1 jacket for cold adventures from work to skiing to snowball war with the family out back. The waterproof HyVent® 2 layer shell protects against everything wet and windy, just the barrier you'll need to fight off the elements. The shell has a hood so you can duck for cover and not worry about the hairs on your head and the front zipper is covered with a storm flap for additional protection. The inner jacket zips in and out of the shell depending on the temp of the outdoor world as well as your personal preference. It's a 100% polyester lightweight fleece to insulate against the cold until you can get back inside for a much deserved cup of coffee. Wear the jackets together or separate, the only real question is do you show no mercy during the snowball war, or take pity upon those cute little kids?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Entry level triclimate jacket OK, let me provide clarity to the "3-in-1" naming scheme. Like many others, I thought "3-in-1" meant three parts of the jacket to combine one super jacket. TNF's 3-in-1 triclimate jacket is exactly that, for use for three climates. So in the case of the Anden, one can use the inner shell for mild climates or inside a mountain cabin. The outer shell by itself can be used for light to moderate rain. And for the colder climates (around 40F) you can combine the two. This jacket is the entry level so don't expect to be toasty warm in single digit/in-the-teens weather, but for the cost, what you get is a lightweight, comfortable jacket. Cons? No pit zips and I can't seem to find the "internal media" pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Versatility Purchased this coat for an trip that included rainy 70 degree weather on land and cloudy 40 degree weather on a boat. Because of the removable lining, it was the perfect coat for this trip. The outer shell is both waterproof and very effective at blocking even strong wind. The liner seems thin, but kept me perfectly warm on the boat while others shivered. At 6 ft 190llbs, a mens large size usually fits me fine. This runs a bit larger, than most coats and the sleeves were a bit longer, but I ended up liking the extra space for plenty of layering room underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly, highly recommend this product I bought this product before taking a snowboarding trip in Ruidoso, NM at Ski Apache which sits at an elevation of 12,000 ft. Ran into a blizzard on our way there, was unaffected by the wet or cold of the storm. During the 3 days of snowboarding I never got cold (actually got too warm in direct sunlight), never got snow up my warms thanks to the velcro tightening wrist straps, and only got snow down my back one time when I took a very hard fall which pulled the synching at the waist loose. Synched it back down and never had another problem. It doesn't make you look like the Michelin man, you can strip down to a lighter layer if you're too warm or add a layer of you're too cold. Highly recommend this product, better than both Columbia, PolarEdge, and Oakley jackets I've used before.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Jacket This is my first NF...I am female and had to get a men's jacket because I am broad in the shoulder area. It fits good and warm enough for Boston winters. The only con is that the inside fleece sleeves are longer than the actual jacket arms themselves. Other than that fits good. Not one of the more of expensive ones, but overall I like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I recently purchased this jacket for the winter. I used the sites size calculator which told me a xxl. It was extremely to large so I returned it for an xl which is also large but I'm afraid a L won't fit. Overall great jacket and great quality! I would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Bomb These jackets have it going on in so many ways they are comfortable and cozy while being toasty at the same time> I purchased one and when my customer called me looking for some Jackets for his crew I steered him on these, He was not disappointed and very impressed over my choice. Thanks Northface for helping me develop that relationship with them. Maybe you should change the name of the Arden to the "BOMB"

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unsatisfied This is the fifth jacket I purchased, The first three fit perfectly and I am completely satisified. The fourth jacket was $310,00 and the same size as the previous three XXl; however it was to small and was returned and money was promply refunded. The fifth jacket for $210.00 and a XXXl was received. This workmanship on this jacket is extremely poor. The inner liner sleeves are two to three inches longer than the outter sleeve. I had no intension of returning another jacket and I surely will not place another order online. I had alterations done to the inner liner.
