Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and roomy I got this for a trip to Isle Royale in northern Michigan, I needed a lighter bag than the mummy bag I had before. This did the job great, left lots of room in my pack for the 8 day hike and was very happy with the extra foot and head room it had. No more sleeping like a dead Egyptian for me, quilts all the way, until it gets to winter in northern Michigan

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted I purchased this lightweight sleeping bag to be used on couch indoors w/air conditioning (for visiting grandson) and potentially outdoors in warm weather. I like that it's silky inside and out and can be unzipped at the bottom and still be zipped along the side. As noted in other reviews, the storage sack is large enough that the bag doesn't have to be super compressed to fit inside, which is fine for me because I don't intend to hike with it. I haven't used it myself yet, but 6' tall grandson liked it fine and the regular was plenty long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used this last week and I love it! This is exactly what I wanted. A sleeping bag that doesn't feel claustrophobic and that I can unzip at the bottom if I want my feet out in the summer months. I'm also looking forward to being able to go camping in October without freezing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from packs tight and light I just toured 2000 miles with this crammed into a compression sack and it was fantastic. I wanted something I could unzip like a blanket if need be and this was perfect. This is the perfect weight for spring / summer camping. I didn't feel too hot or too cold. The inside is sleek and oh so comfortable. I'm no pro but I feel this bag was a great deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great And Lightweight! I bought this sleeping bag to take to the hospital when my wife gave birth. Sleeping on the couch with nothing but a hospital blanket was not going to cut it. This Dolomite easily fit in with all of our hospital gear, was easy to unpack and pack, and did a great job keeping me both comfortable and warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Choice for Larger Guys (Long Version) I am a big guy with very broad shoulders (6'4" - 240). I sleep on my side. I have hated every mummy bag I've tried, they just aren't big enough to be comfortable for large guys like me. This one fits, and is still light enough to take backpacking. Realistically, I would say mid-50s and above is where this bag is comfortable on its own, when it hits about 50 you will either want to be dressed warmly inside it or want something more. But realize that it can easily be extended into the shoulder seasons with an inexpensive fleece liner and/or a lightweight camping blanket. I combined this with the snugpak jungle blanket for some camping in Maine and it got down to mid-30s and I was perfectly comfortable. Since this thing isn't that heavy to begin with, adding more layers doesn't kill you on weight, and it gives you a lot of flexibility to adjust to the conditions. Although it does not come with one, it can be compressed into a small compression sack, but the instructions warn you not to store it compressed for any length of time. It is an excellent value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bag! I picked up this sleeping bag at a great price to take with me on backpacking trips. It's light at 2+ lbs and warm enough for 3 seasons (with adequate layers in chilly mountain temps). On warmer nights I sleep on top of it giving my sleeping pad extra padding. It's not as light/warm as down bags, but it does the trick. And it being a fraction of the price as a down bag, it's also pocket friendly.
