DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from warm in most conditions I wore these running in 3 degree weather and was really wishing i had an insulated skirt on too, froze my butt off, in slightly warmer conditions they work well. A little stiff with the windproof front panels but still good for running.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buying a 2nd pair for my high school daughter My daughter has to run outdoors for XC and "indoor" track season in temperatures 20deg F or less. These pants have made the difference and we are buying a 2nd pair to swap during the week for washing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Make me want to run and run some more The fit is perfect for me. Love the way it is constructed and has good warmth and areas that breathe more. Great running tights. Compared to all my others I would buy this pair again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these tights! They are thick, but not bulky. I've been on some cold morning runs with them and they definitely do the trick. I also love the draw string waist and side pocket that fits my phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Treat yourself Treated myself to a new pair of outdoor tights. Super comfortable while guiding snowshoe tours and trail running on snow. The wind block material worked on the front of my legs and the Smartwool didn't cause me to overheat. Best part was the super comfortable waist. I just wish the pocket was large enough to hold phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love these tights but... they aren't as warm as i had expected. i have been wearing them in 20 degree + weather but given the description (double layer) i thought they would be good for colder temps. also, i am usually a small but have long legs so i opted for the medium which fit perfectly. given those caveats, they are fantastic!
