Rated 5 out of 5 by from 15 Degrees for 9 ounces For most of the year I manage with a 40 degree down bag. However, to extend my travels inland away from the coast I picked up one of these. To say the least it's tiny. By adding this liner to my bag I managed to get into the low 30's with out any issues. The Reactor offers a 15 degree increase in comfort range while others offer 10 degrees at best. In addition to that this was the same size and about the same cost of various silk liners. While costing more than cotton liners, its half the size and weight with better thermal properties. This is my liner of choice for long self supported sea kayak expeditions abroad. Can also be used solo for warm weather and travel conditions...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good cover-up This liner is nice to travel with, because it keeps my sleeping bag cleaner and keeps me covered up when i just want my bag unzipped for warm weather. However, most mornings I wake up to find it in a bunch at my feet. Maybe I just sleep a little crazy? The other thing that bothers me is that the material is a tiny bit "snaggy" on my skin. I have dry, calloused hands and feet, which catch/snag on a lot of materials. This stuff isn't too snaggy, but its not great either. It feels nice on the rest of my body. I think it might not be worth the retail price. I found a used one for cheap so it works for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If mama's happy, then EVERYONE is happy Bought 2 of these, for the wife and for me, to keep the bags clean and help her stay warm. She gets cold even in 70+ degrees. These worked great! Comfortable, non restrictive and for her.. she went from her usual sleeping attire of socks, cuddle duds, sweat pants, long sleeve T and 2 hoodies to just socks, duds, long sleeve T and ONE hoodie. She felt warmer and slept much better, which makes her less grumpy in the morning. I felt less gross not spreading my daily dirt in my bag.,,,,Light weight.. slip it inside your bag before stuffing and you won't even notice it's there.. till you shake out your bag and it falls in the dirt. ,,,,Mama was happy... So was I. Highly recommended!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Leaving Home Without It Purchased this to go along with my new bag, and was pleasantly surprised during shakedown. It was between 40 and 45F outside with extremely moist conditions. Initially, I had trouble getting my toes warm, but once that was resolved, I slept like a rock, warm and toasty in my bag and liner. Actually woke up in the wee hours needing to vent because it was a little *too* warm. Given the lightweight material and other reviews, I'm hoping it will also make a good sleep solution for warmer weather.,,,,Highly recommended if you tend to get cold while sleeping; not so much if you don't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from top liner above all. Kept me warm at night and at the same time. Left condensation out of my bag which I hate the feeling. You would be happy with this product, and its a steal for $40 bucks. It also keeps your bag cleaner... leaving you to only wash this liner itself. Protects the bag from your body oil (sebum, from follicles) dirt, etc.. I strongly believe this is worth it. Ok truthfully I wouldnt say that this reactor along reduced the temp by 15-20 degrees F. ,,,,IMHO: lol It really depends on how you sleep and what you had for dinner. How cold you are etc.,,At most 5-10 degrees max. w/e

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Its just OK I have used this liner for more then three years with my 20 degree bad on many cold nights in the field. Im not sure about the whole 'thermolite" deal, it really doesnt add that much warmth. Its okay but there could be better/cheaper options out there depending on your needs. If your winter camping its probably not the bag for you. ,,,,Its not all bad though! Its keeps your bag clean, it is super lightweight, and the material feels nice! If nothing else its a comfort for me to have it and I wont sleep in my bag without it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from decent sleeping bag liner I've owned this exact liner before. It doesn't really increase the warmth by as much as it says it does on the package. However, it's perfect for hotter places where you want mosquito protection, but you don't want to have to get in your bag. It's also good for cold nights with your bag. Again, I don't think it gives you as much warmth as advertised, but it gives you a little extra. It's also good for when you are borrowing (or loaning out) a sleeping bag so you don't have to sleep in someone else's gross bag. ,,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent, lightweight, and warm I bought this to supplement my 0 degree bag when I do solo overnight ascents in the winter. It really works. During the winter I usually find myself having to slip a bunch of cellulose heat packs in my bag to keep warm when the temp dips below 0. With this lightweight sack, I no longer need to spend my hard earned dough on disposable heat. Now I have more money to spend on gear... I also have more time to spend writing reviews because now I don't need to work so hard.
