Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dream shoe (for ladies too!) This shoe is an amazing choice for any climber looking for a flexible, sensitive, low profile, and aggressive shoe for bouldering and sport climbing. I originally purchased these for bouldering, and they quickly became a staple for steep sport climbing routes as well. I have used these shoes sport climbing outdoors, and bouldering and top-roping indoors. From the first time I climbed in these shoes I was amazed at the comfort that you get right out of the box - I broke them in in just a few climbing days. It is very reliable when smearing and edging, and I was impressed by of both its toe- and heel-hooking ability. My favorite aspect is the sensitivity of these shoes - the thin rubber outsole makes it so that you can feel the bumps and grooves on the rock and push down hard with confidence. This sensitivity and low profile of this shoe are also so helpful when matching feet on the tiniest chip - you can feel when your foot is secure even without having to look. The midsole of the shoe is also very flexible so if you have strong feet you can almost use your feet as a second set of hands, flexing and pulling yourself toward the wall with your feet on overhung routes (this shoe will definitely help your feet get stronger). This flexibility and the textured toe-patch also contributes to its impressive toe-hooking. Fit - I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel and this shoe fits like a glove - hugging my forefoot and midsole perfectly and basically suction-cupping my heel in. For the Booster S I went down one full size from street shoe. (1/2 size down from my Scarpa Vapor V) I would not recommend sizing down too drastically in Scarpas. I have not had any noticeable stretching during my use of these shoes. Bottom line - Great shoe for anyone looking for an aggressive, sensitive, low profile shoe. Will definitely buy again. Pic is after a successful day out at Le Petit Verdon in Flagstaff, AZ.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This ROCKS (get it hahahaha someonedatemeplz) I upgraded to these from the Boostics, and they have met and surpassed my expectations. The toe rubber is thick and sturdy, so have no misgivings about the lack of midsole. The heel cup hugs without squeezing, and the upper provides some of the most secure toe-hooks and bicycle clings you'll find anywhere. Seriously, if your feet like the feel of Scarpa shoes, you will really like this one. Highly recommended, 10/10, would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The complete everything shoe I love these shoes so much that I bought a second pair. I now prefer these shoes for almost all types of climbing. I thought at first they were mostly good for steep routes as they have a softer feel that the Boostics but then while working one of my projects in a stiffer shoe that required precise edging I decided to try the Booster S. I was surprised to find that they performed better than the stiffer shoes. I think this is because of how the toe was designed. At any rate, they are the shoe I now prefer for all the climbing that I do.
