Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just getting into this ... I purchased this harness and some other gear to work with my local scout troop's cope and climbing activities. I am new tot all this and have no clue, but after reading meany reviews I chose this harness. It is comfortable, comes with a mesh carrying case and appears to be well made. I am a bigger guy and the size 2 fit my 260 Lb self. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool, comfortable, loaded with features What I like:,,-adjustable leg loops. If you're like me then you like to climb even when it's cold. Adjustable legs loops allow you to layer up.,,-bi-lateral belt adjustments. I've had problems in the past keeping some harnesses centered with my core. This one does a really good job because you can pull it tight from both sides.,,-front gear loops stick out well. They're like super reinforced or something. It's great.,,-durable and comfortable. It's been thrown in and out of my crag bag for almost two years. It climbs just as well as it did on day 1. ,,,,What I don't like:,,-a bit on the heavy side. But it's a good compromise because most of this weight is in the padding and leg loop buckles.,,-the rear gear loops don't stick out as far as the front ones. It's true. The front ones are so perfect but these lay flatter and it kinda sucks.,,,,Bottom line: great harness for just starting out. All day comfort for both climbing and belaying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and Comfy It's a bit heavier than other harnesses, but when I'm lugging much more on my trad or sport climbs already, I don't really notice it compared to my lighter harnesses. I initially didn't think much about the dual belt loops, but it definitely helps fine tune that adjustability that makes it a bit more comfortable. The nice wide belt strap adds more to the comfort when you are hanging on your next project. The gear loops are decent, but they could stand to be a bit stiffer/wider for me, but its definitely usable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great first harness Comfy and thick padding for long times hanging on the wall. Very versatile, I use it for trad, sport, single pitch, multipitch and highlining.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable harness fits a wide variety of people I got the Petzl corax after using an Edelrid logan. The corax is noticeably heavier with much thicker padding and buckles. The design was very comfortable for me, and has worked very well for gym climbing and at an outdoor climbing gym. ,,,,What sets the corax apart from almost any other harness I looked at before making my purchase was the adjustability. The small size fits waists 23 to 33 inches. This means that I can lend it out to friends when I take them climbing. They have a very comfortable quality harness instead of those terrible ball crunching gym harnesses. It has fit everybody I know comfortably from my wife to my big ex-army cousin. ,,,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, full featured harness... also cheap Terrific mid-range harness. Comfortable enough for long pitches, light enough as well. Plenty of room for gear, adjustable legs for outdoor, it just has it all.,,,,One flaw, kind of a bitch to lock down your waist strap, I've seen better designs here. But whatever, takes like 3 seconds to get used to.,,,,You should buy this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great harness, super comfortable I love my Petzl harness, its is comfortable, easy to adjust and overall a great harness. My first harness was a Black Diamond Momentum AL, and although it served me well, I just recently upgraded to this one. It is much more comfortable than my black diamond one, especially though the legs. It is also easier to maneuver in and its nice that this one is pre-double backed and it tightens on both sides of your hips instead of just one. I would recommend spending the extra $20 and getting this harness over the Black Diamond Momentum AL, this is a really good harness.
