DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase for petite women! I bought this in the nouveau green, which looks like a gray forest green color. I am about 5'0" and 110 lbs. I purchased this in a size small. With a short sleeve shirt, it felt a little bit loose but with a long sleeve shirt, it felt just right. A hoody could fit under this without being stuffy. The sleeve came to mid-hand (fairly before my knuckles) and the waist came to just under my butt. The sleeves and waist have toggles to tighten if needed. I felt like this was a good size considering I like it a little longer in the winter since it's cold.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but The sizing is a little off. The large was too big and the medium was too small.

Would this hood be able to go over a helmet for skiing?

Asked by: Saah
Thanks for the question! The hood is fully insulated and adjustable with a slight brim for additional protection from the elements. It is not helmet compatible, tho. Please don't hate me.
