DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perrrfect for Michigan winters This coat is super warm. It is a nice length. The exterior pockets zip and there is one internal pocket. The hood also fits nicely; it doesnt fall off easily when windy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit! I bought this jacket and really loved it. I ended up swapping it for a heavier one because it wasn't quite warm enough for the area I live in, but I was tempted to keep it less frigid days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So warm! Patagonia continues to impress. I bought this coat because I was persuaded by a coworker to get a long warm coat for the cold MN temps in winter..I am SO glad I listened and purchased this one. It is incredibly warm and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm! I searched for a long time and ordered a few other coats before this one. I wanted a synthetic coat that was also warm and this one is great! It’s been between 1 degree and 20 degrees in jersey the last few weeks, and i have been comfortable even when I’m just standing around in the back yard. The wind goes through the jacket a tiny bit, but with a few layers underneath I’ve been completely comfortable. The coat is a cut roomy, so there is plenty of room for even giant sweaters underneath. For reference, I am 5’7”, a 32 DD and weigh about 155 lbs. I bought a medium but I think I could have gone with a small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from warm and comfortable! its super warm, not too bulky. its not as fitted as I would like, but I'm also very small (5') so its not surprising. blocks the wind! a huge plus in Nebraska winters. I would definitely buy it again!

It looks like this coat would come down to the knees not just a jacket to the hips? I am looking for a coat for church with dresses

Asked by: Patricia
Hi there, thanks for your question! The front, from the neck to the hem, measures 35 inches and on the back, from the neck to the hem, is 37.5 inches (size medium). Hope this helps!

Women's Fit Guide Details & Info

Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.

Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.

• Conforms to the body's contours.

• Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.

• Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.

• Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

• Boxy, athletic, with a traditional crew neck.

• Formfitting and longer in the torso, with a wider, deeper neck (not quite scoop).
