Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and practical coat I love the length and weight of this coat. It is beautifully made, and comfortable to wear. The sleeves are too long for me (I usually wear a Petite size); I just fold them under and lengthen them in colder weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I have traveled from Europe to California and this coat has been perfect. Light weight and fits into a carry on suite case. I use a as pillow in the plane. Keeps you very warm and is very fashionable. I love this coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FANTASICO This coat is as advertised and warmer than the Eddie Bauer version. It fits well and looks good! I wish I’d bought this in the first place-worth then money spent!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shape--runs small! The blue color is fantastic! I am normally a medium and ordered M online. The jacket runs small and is pretty fitted on top, which gives it a great shape, but I felt the M was too snug for me on top to wear sweaters underneath. I exchanged at the store for the L and it is more roomy on top and on the sleeve length. It's not the warmest jacket for very cold weather, but it meets what I was looking for, warm and not bulky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Choice! Bought this jacket needing a warm jacket without the bulk. This jacket is the perfect blend of this. Also the longer length is terrific. Can easily pack this jacket for a trip without taking up much space. Keeps you warm without the weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection This coat is perfect. It is feminine, comfortable, and very warm. I wore it walking through the streets of Chicago when it had a -15 degree windchill and stayed warm! I never want to wear another coat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color and warmth Love the coat for style, color and warmth even in very cool temps here in Buffalo. Lightweight but heavy-duty. I am 5'4" and 125 lbs. the small fits well even with a sweater.

Does this jacket pack easily? Or is it still fairly bulky if wanting to pack?

Asked by: Lovely Leah
That's a great question! I actually have this Parka and it packs extremely small since it is not too thick of a jacket to begin with. Unfortunately, none of the Patagonia Parka's stow into their pockets because they are too long. Down jackets will always be the most pack-able. I similar looking item would be the Fiona Parka. I included a link below. Hope this helps! https://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_Patagonia-Women-s-Fiona-Parka_10343912_10208_10000001_-1_

Is the Carbon color a green shade? Is the Forge Grey a true grey or is it almost black?

Asked by: SusieG
Thanks for the question! The color Carbon is a dark Olive Green shade. Forge Grey is pretty dark. I would say when worn with Jeans it comes off as almost Black, but when worn with Black pants (or anything dark) it will be Grey. If that makes sense. I hope this helps a little!

Hi I usually wear a size 6.  I use a fleece under my coat.  However I wore a M size in the North Face Metropolis Parka.  I am wondering if this coat runs small?

Asked by: Kdroldan
Hiya Kdroldan, thanks for your question! If you are a size 6, I would suggest the Small... but you might want to size up to a Medium if you need more wiggle room. Hope this helps!

Just curious how warm and thick this jacket is compared to say the down sweater? Thanks!

Asked by: Lcm423
Thanks for the question! I would say the Radalie Parka is more similar to the Nano Puff - in terms of thickness. For warmth, I think closer to the Better Sweater- since it has 150 grams of insulation. The higher the gram number, the warmer the garment. Hope this helps!
