Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shorts ever These are the best shorts in the history of shorts. Soft, thin but durable, overall amazing. I'm 5'2 barely 100lbs and I have room to gain weight in them. (Size zero)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big Fan Most hiking are shorts a bit too long imo. These are not. They're fashionable while still being highly functional. They stretch so I don't believe they're too tight. Plus they come in great colors

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Slim-fitted shorts with quick-dry fabric; perfect for those with normal to flat glutes! I am an adult female (5'0", 100lbs) with a 24 inch waist. The size 0 fit very well as everyday, casual shorts. The waist, thigh, and length were on point. However, there was not enough seat coverage for me to feel comfortable biking or climbing in these shorts. Overall, the shorts fit beautifully, but my glutes need a littttttle bit more coverage for outdoor activities. Even a 1/2 inch of fabric would have done the trick. Suggestion to Patagonia: the "low-rise" feature was greatly appreciated in the front, but the rear portion of these shorts need to be slightly higher to accommodate the glutes of athletes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good fabric, but very small So I ordered these and when they came they were especially tight. I usually wear a 10 in most everything (so that's what I ordered) - sometimes I'm the occasional 8, and sometimes a 12. Usually if things run small, it's only in the waist, so with slightly stretchy fabric, it's usually fine. These you should definitely go up a size otherwise they are tight in the waist and thighs AND they creep up. Overall, if I had heeded the advice of the previous reviewer, I may have liked them more and they'd have fit - as it turns out I had to return them. I think they'd have been super cute to go hiking in, if I'd ordered the right size. :-(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loved them, but runs really small I received these shorts and loved the fabric, they would be wonderful for hiking. Unfortunately, these shorts run super small. Most of my experience with Patagonia products is that they run small, so I ordered a size up - still too small. If you order this product, I would definitely suggest ordering a size up. ,,
