DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aweśome Shirt! I truly wish that everyone in Michigan could own one of these down shirts. Warm, cozy and good looking. So great to layer under with my Patagonia coat and such a awesome look. I purchased the violet shirt and it's a perfect color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight but very warm! Both my boys play hockey and this keeps me very warm! My only gripe is the arms are a little big. I love the bright blue and have got tons of compliments!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great layering jacket Bought this for my daughter after she wore mine and absolutely loved it! Very light weight. Great to wear on its own or to layer under or over sweaters or coats. Also packs really well - rolls up nice and small so it's easy to pack or through in a purse.

What is the temperature range for the down shirt?

Asked by: georgie
Hiya Georgie, thanks for your question! This jacket does not have a temperature rating. In fact, most jackets do not have temperature ratings. This is for several reasons. Mainly, it's because warmth is a subjective thing, unique to each person. Not only that, but there are other factors that can affect a jacket's warmth: wind, humidity, activity level, what else you are wearing, etc. That said... this jacket is is a nice option for early fall or mid-late spring. It is a pretty light insulation piece so its good for layering in colder weather. Hope this helps!
