Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buckle holds tight, doesn't deform I bought this, my first Patagonia belt, several months ago. I have worn it virtually everyday for 8 to 10 hours. I hike a lot and do general farm type work maintaining a large nature preserve. This belts performance has been outstanding. The 1.5" width fits my work pants perfectly and the buckle holds tight and lays flat. The thickness of the webbing makes this a very sturdy belt that hasn't deformed with heavy use like the leather belts I generally buy. Plus, it looks great when I've cleaned up after a days work - not soiled or deformed at all. Like most Patagonia gear, top rate!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, long lasting My husband has worn his first one for10 years! he now has 2 more. We bought 2 for other family members ! Super casual or sort of dressy. The buckle is a bottle opener.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great no frills belt I purchased this belt because I was looking for something not leather and without notches. Love how robust and durable it is as should be expected with Patagonia. With this belt you pretty much know what you're getting, there are no surprises. I expect it to last many years. The only very minor gripe I have is that the buckle is a bit bulkier than I thought it was when I originally tried it on. But really not a deal breaker and only my personal opinion. Also worth mentioning, this belt is a bit long if you have a smaller waist, but it was very easy to cut (with some heavy duty scissors) the end and re-seal it with a lighter so it does not fray.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't stay tight Bought this hoping with the teeth I wouldn't constantly have to tighten it on my hikes. Sadly, I had to tighten it multiple times on a 2.5 hour hike. Very dissapointed. Nice material and good looking or it would be a 1 star for me.
