Moosejaw Staff Pick - Jeremy L, Moosejaw Secret Headquarters

The Patagonia Men's Nano Air Hoody is a synthetic insulated jacket built to stretch and move with you during active missions into the mountain. The jacket is packed on the inside with 60 grams of FullRange insulation, with a 20D nylon ripstop with mechanical stretch exterior and a 50D nylon plain weave with mechanical stretch lining. Let me just throw these two words at you: stretch and breathability. It's all about unrestricted movement and staying warm without overheating so you can hit the summit without getting held up by your jacket. The slim fit allows for a base layer underneath, won't be bulky, and will readily allow a hardshell to be pulled on overtop when the rain or snow hits. Pretend like you're doing an 80s workout video: stretch....and releaaaaaase.

Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not particularly warm This jacket has been a bit of a disappointment. The fabric doesn't look particularly nice. It's not very warm. I took it out in 45 degree weather with a tee shirt underneath but was cold. I've worn it in 30 degree weather with a long sleeve shirt underneath and didn't freeze, but want warm either. I don't recommend buying it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flipping Awesome Had a down puffy which was too warm, this thing breathes when it needs to and keeps me toasty when I need it to. Also it is like wearing a comfy sleeping bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very light and warm Picked this out as my holiday present and it was an excellent choice. The jacket is exceptionally light and warm. I plan to put it to the real test when I go backpacking in March.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket I got this a month ago after looking at it for a year or two. Best price I have seen and last year's model but I prefer it because the logo is more subtle (gray) vs. the new model with the purple background logo. A little worried about the wearability of the exterior material but this is the perfect layer for fall/winter, either with a shell or standing alone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Jacket Ever?? Check out my in depth review of this amazing piece of outwear. Possibly one of the greatest jackets ever made. Ever time I put this thing on it's like wearing a hug.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent Jacket Haven't gotten a chance to use it yet due to high temperatures. Material seems a little cheap for patagonia's standards. Hope it holds up. Other than that fit is great and seems very easy to move in. Doesn't stretch

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it bought one and it is so good I proceeded to buy several - light weight, warm as a midlayer (though maybe not in subzero conditions), comfortable
Date published: 2017-04-06
Rated 2 out of 5 by from fit weird maybe its because there isn't much weight to this coat it felt awkward and poorly made which is something I have ever experienced from Patagonia. It was also full of static.
