DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Coat Looking for a new winter coat for my son who is 7. My major concern was how bulky the jacket was. My son likes to stuff his coats in his book bag they make it home safely that way. Bulky coats won't fit and will be left behind at school. But I also wanted a coat that was warm. This Patagonia boy's jacket is great. It is very light, waterproof, easily folded to fit in to a back pack without a wrinkle, thank you Moosejaw for that demonstration when you shipped it in that small package. Brilliant. Even though it is light weight it is lined with this warm fleece type poly blend material. Keeps my kid very warm, hooded, and zips all the way up covers his entire neck and mouth. very good product for the money!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm & cozy! I bought this for my five year old son in the medium size so that he can wear it for multiple winters. It is rather long by my choice but all I had to do was roll the sleeves up once & it fits fine for now. I am estimating that he will get two more winters after this one in this coat. He loves it because it is warm & cozy on our walks to & from school. It doesn't empeed his rang of motion & hasn't stoped him climbing trees. Especially this week it has been very windy & the hood keeps his ears warm as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality and Besuty I bought this jacket for my great grandson to take on his trip to Big Bear. First, for the great Patagonia quality, and looks. I am very happy and satisfied with this purchase because I bought it from my favorite site Mooejaw. I love Moosehaw first because of their great prices and their great sense of humor. Their prices were much better than Patagonia .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking coat My boy likes this coat and it looks really great on him. The Furrer on the inside looks cozy and is warm but is not in the sleeves. Sleezer rather thin for a coat called Infurno. We haven't had a really cool day yet I'm hoping it keeps him warm!
