Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Cap I received my first Yukon Cap for a Christmas present an it was the best thing ever an it is my favorite head gear to wear in the winter months...I have now purchase 3 more Yukon Caps an can't wait to find rugged outdoor wear to compliment them lol. ..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pricey for What You Get The hat is warm enough and stylish, but it's pricey for what you get. The earflaps don't do a whole lot to keep your ears warm. They are also inconvenient to use. You have to unbutton, not unsnap but unbutton, four, count 'em, four buttons in order to use them. What kind of design is this for outdoor gear?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed Review I like it, although I mainly just wear it around the neighborhood or when I'm out hiking. It isn't the warmest because the ear flaps don't cover the ears very well. My wife hates it because she thinks it looks silly. I bought a large and wish I had gone a size smaller. I don't really like the flex cut in the bill. I think a more traditional bill would have been better suited.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Hat - Sizing is a little goofy This has become my go to cold weather hat. It's warm, versatile, and I love the folding brim for easy storage in a pocket. The only problem is the sizing. I've tried on a few of these in different colors and it seems like the large fit with the ones that I tried on in store. By the time I pulled the trigger to buy it I had gone back to Utah. The hat I ordered fits, but runs a little bigger than I had expected. It may be the altitude, it may be that the sales guys made me feel good and my head grew in the store, but all things told the hat is about a half size too big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Warm! I've been looking for a winter hat that's something other than a beanie but wasn't sure if I could pull off a full on stormy. Then I saw the OR Yukon and figured I'd give it a try. It's surprisingly very warm, even with the flaps up it keeps my head noticeably warm. I have only tried it with the flaps down a couple times and, to tell you the truth, they're just too short (or my ears are too big) and they end up sticking straight out. I like having something a bit more stylish to wear in the winter as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Cap Have been wearing my new Yukon Cap in our snowy weather here in the East and it has been great. Very warm and of good quality!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good quality, Bad design This hat was a Christmas present in 2014. The materials and quality are great. It is toasty warm. However.... the ear flaps are designed to funnel any wind directly over your ears. Even my old Army BDU cap had better ear flaps than this cap. I have worn it quite a bit over the past year and really wish the flaps were larger all the way around. The second button holding each side up is also superfluous and can be done away with. I AM glad that these are buttons, not the over-used Velcro.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classic Once a classic, now hard to find, this cap is well-made with double stitching and medium weight cloth.

Is Peat Herringbone a light grey? It looks sort of greenish in the image.

Asked by: geomarmot
Hiya, thanks for your question! The Peat Herringbone is definitely green and grey. The ear flaps are grey and the piping is green. I would consider it a green hat. Hope this helps!
