Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love these but.... I Love the light weight of these pants and appreciate the thigh zips (which the Cirque Pants could use). These are my pants for spring skiing or warmer winter sunny Colorado days since the upper thigh fabric is fairly light and breathable. The only problem is that the waterproof lower is clammy on warm days, and here in Colorado if I am breaking trail, my lower leg doesn't need such hardcore waterproof protection as provided by these pants. How about a new style OR of a trailbreaker pants with the same fabric from thighs to ankles? Or just adding some vents to the Cirque Pants?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING These pants are perfect for ski touring, the side vent zips are great, lots of pockets (Avy beacon pocket with clip), and super comfortable. I've worn them dh skiing, too with a baselayer. The fit is perfect! I'm tempted to purchase another pair. I'm 5'3 / 120pd and the small is perfect. I plan on bringing these pants for my six day mountain adventure this spring. Best purchase of the year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ski touring pants! These are my go to ski touring pants. I love the long zipper on the sides to help keep me from overheating (although I have to remember to put sunscreen on my legs to prevent painful sunburns). I also like all the pockets. One thing I really dislike is the placement of the velcro straps inside the belt. If I don't have my shirt tucked in, it rubs my skin dry. I too wish they came in other colors. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat if it was a fun color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! More colors please! I have used these pants all season and they are excellent for ski touring. I would buy another pair but am tired of black and grey. Please please make some more colors next season!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love them My husband bought me these for Christmas and so far they are great. They are not lined, so good base layer is important. At the same time, because they're not lined they are great for uphill climbs. The cuff is plenty big enough to fit over ski boots. They fit nicely, with just enough stitch for comfort. My only complaint is that the front pockets are a little tight to get into and the zippers are really heavy duty, which is great, but they tend to scrap your hands. I haven't had them long, but they seem really durable

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Pant, some durability issues I really love this pant, the way it fits, the styling, and the technical features for backcountry skiing. My only complaint is that the durability of the fabric in the knees and below, seems to be less than ideal. I have ripped two holes in my knee area of these pants within the first season of use. If OR could update the durability of the fabric in this area, this would be the absolute perfect backcountry ski pant. If you are gentler on your gear than I, then you should get this pant. Runs true to size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from One major flaw The pants features both "Adjustable Tabs Inside Waistband" and a "Brushed Tricot-Lined Waistband". The problem is that there is an exposed section of velcro on the adjustable tab. You MUST keep your shirt tucked in with these pants. In less than a days use I lost all my skin in the area where this adjustable tab on both sides near my hip bones. I don't understand why they didn't put this adjustable tab on the outside of the pants like they did the mens. On hot approaches I like to untuck my shirt and I just can't with these pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kickass BC ski pant! These are the best backcountry ski/snowboard soft shells Iメve encountered! They area a nice weight for cold and dry conditions in the Rockies when paired with lightweight long underwear/tights or by themselves in the warm, damp PNW. They shed water well and are very durable. The gator cuff and zippered outer fits perfectly and securely over a ski boot or even snowboard boot. Theyメve made some good improvements on the side zippers to dump excess heat. The zips are longer than many competitors, donメt have the mesh getting in the way and collecting snow, and so far have done a great job of not unzipping further when youメre active and have them partially unzipped. Thereメs lots of deep, zippered pocketsラI guess it would make more sense to put the beacon clip on a different pocket than the front one since it would get in the way at times, but I donメt keep my beacon in my pants pockets anyway. I particularly love how they cinch down if youメre in between sizes or layering. There are Velcro tabs that, when pulled adjust an internal belt systemラand they stay in place. And the gator cuff on the inside thigh is durable to avoid rips from crampons as one would expect from OR. These pants are so well designed and do exactly what you want and need in a backcountry ski pant. Well done, OR!
