Rated 3 out of 5 by Teton Mom from More then I Needed I think some people might love these, but not me. The material and craftsmanship is high quality. I get why the seems are around the knees for movement but I found them itchy and irritating. Zippered pockets are great if your going to be rock climbing and don't want to lose anything. For me as a chapstick and cell phone holder I get annoyed zipping and unzipping. The legs have a tight fit when zipped. Again great for rock climbing but I would need to wear them unzipped to fit over my hiking boots. The last thing I didn't like about them was the plastic toggle in the waist band. I always have my baby carrier on and I know that thing would dig into me and baby carrier or harness it's it bad idea to have in the waistband. Not for me and my purpose- hiking and scrambling- going back. Oh I'm 5'4" usually wear a 10 or medium, I got these in a medium and the fit was awesome (my butt looked good, too bad)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alex from Comfortable, but not that warm Bought these to wear winter running and nordic skiing. The material seems durable, but still soft. These are not lined though and actually pretty chilly on their own. On most occasions, I will probably wear another layer underneath them. I love the zippered pockets. I do wish they had a little more reflective trim, and they bunch a little bit in the waist. Other than that they are great! I'm 5'4", 115lbs with hips, and like in most OR pants the xs fits well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dee from Lightweight, slim fit and with pockets! These pants have been comfortable at the gym, in spin class, hiking, and even lounging. The fabric is wearing well and shows no signs of pilling, snags, or static cling.

They have a reflective strip on the back by the zipper which is great for running at night. They are breathable and super soft, resist the cold, snow, and wind, and hold up great. They are also super comfortable and I've been wearing them to work in the office. If you plan to use outside for cold winter runs or x-country skiing, you may want to wear a baselayer underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jewell from these pants are the jam! I just met these pants a few months ago, but I've fallen in love. Hard core. I know, I know-- the early weeks with clothing are a 'honeymoon phase,' it's hard to tell how things are going to wear and how you'll feel about your gear 6 months or a year down the road. But I'm not afraid of the future, and I have no shame admitting to wearing these pants allofthetime. What I like most about these pants are the fit/cut. They design is simple and they fit perfectly; they are by no means tight but they have a trim design, without extra fabric. I run/hike/climb/bike in these in variable conditions quite comfortably: they are breathable but they block the wind well. All in all, if I am choosing a pair of pants for an alpine day in the spring/summer/fall, these are my choice. They are simple, soft, and move well with my body. Just wish they came in colors!

HOW to MEASURE
WAIST: Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.

HIP: Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your leg.

INSEAM: Choose a pair of pants that fits well and true to size, hitting at the top of the foot. Measure the inseam from crotch seam to bottom of the hem.
